Welcome all, I'm sure many know this scam briefly but i am here to show you how to really perfect it, and get solid loot from this. Its bulletproof if you do it right, but i must warn you YOU CAN GET BANNED - So take all the safety steps listed at the bottom.
//THE SCAM// To start out, go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and look for your server (unless you want to pay a transfer fee - this isnt hard, but YOU CAN ONLY transfer up to 300g if your level 10-30, 1000g if your level 31-50, 5000g if your 51-69, and up to 10000 if your level 70, so don't sell too many items on the server if you intend to transfer your character off
Next, you can see how far each guild has progressed and should give you a nice visual of who will have a bigger "loot pool". Now go to the armory and look up the guild you want to scam, and check the member count/guild ranks THIS IS CRUCIAL! the more rank 1's/2's, the better!! Lets say i am going to scam the server "Icecrown" as an alliance, if we look "Blades Of Wrath" is a perfect target to aim at, so lets get them.
Now that we have a target guild, we could go straight to scamming them, but sometimes they might not believe your who you say you are, so lets gather some background info first. Go to the Realm forums and look at the guild list thread, find the guild, for us it will be [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Now head over to their member list, and since you will always impersonate a rank 1 or 2 I SUGGEST NOT TO IMPERSONATE THE GM!!! you will be caught easier, as everyone in the guild knows you. Now, just for simplicity's sake, lets take "Montie" - we see that hes a Navy Air Traffic Controller, and a rank 2 in the guild, PERFECT!
Great, so we have a member to impersonate, some info, and now we're ready to roll. Logon to the realm, and create a [THEIR RACE/WARRIOR] - so for montie we'll make a human warrior, and name it "MontieBank" (or, if you see a trend, like ROFLCOPTER ROFLREX ROFLMAXIMUS in the guild, they are probably all alts of the main person, so you'd make your guy ROFLBANK)
Now LOOK FOR A RANK ONE (you can try the guild master if you think your up to it, get solid info for it though, they are harder to trick) thats online in the guild by /who and whisper them "Hey, mind inviting me to the guild, i have some items to donate" or something along those lines. If your lucky, right away you'll be invited, and promoted to your current rank in the guild on your main, BUT for the sake of it, lets say its the worst-case scenario.
"ARR MATEY! MIND YE BE INVITIN' ME TO YAR GUILD?! I HAVE SOME ITEMS TO DONATE ARR!" -oh shit, just great, you left your pirate speak addon on (rofl yes happened to me many times) Quickly laugh and say "oops, sorry, [insert lame embarrassed excuse here] my friend downloaded that on my computer today, was trying it out" if he invites you great, but lets say he doesnt trust you, he asks "How do i know its really you Montie?" Now, if you didnt collect any information just state "why would i lie to you?" or something along those, if you do know information, state a bit here, make up your own way of saying it. If he invites you great! your in! if he still doesnt trust you and says to get on vent, say its broken or something, and your main wont login for X reason. slip your way through these, most of the time if they go this far, you may not get it, but keep trying.
Ok, so lets say you were finally invited in, sweet, - but oh wait, your still too low of a rank to loot from the bank! dont worry, just laugh and state that you cant see any of the guild bank, ALMOST ALL THE TIME they dont know the permissions of the lower ranks, so they will just promote you, you can milk this as far as you want, only once have they kicked me for asking for promotions THIS WAY! (note: NEVER EVER EVER! ask for a promotion unless theres no other option, say it indirectly, like "i cant see the bank", not "promote me" it sounds horrid to them)
Hopefully you'll be high enough to loot from the bank, rape it as much as you can, and transfer the items off the account however you feel is necessary. DELETE the account after everything is off of him, then remake the same race/name and go kill a mob, then delete, and redo a few times, to prevent blizzard from getting to you. transfer through multiple accounts if you want extra safety and keep redoing this.
AND VIOLA! your rich, do what you want with it!

-NEVER DIRECTLY ASK FOR A PROMOTION unless the person is a complete idiot, and indirectly asking wont work.
-NEVER SAY "dude, man, etc." the person your impersonating may not say these, and ruining your chances to get in
-Try to avoid as much contact with guildmates as possible, closer friends can expose you for who you arn't very easily [i tried to scam a guild of 80ish members, immediatly by saying "hey all" the whole guild stated "ITS NOT X!!!!!!"
-Don't excessively ignore someone if they are trying to get your attention, just say your in a rush or something, or if your risky you can try to talk a bit, but it may get you a kick, so careful of what you type.
-Never aim for low population guilds, and always ask a rank 1 in the guild to invite you.
-Delete and remake the character multiple times to evade blizzard's cold banhammer!
Done it before. Well... I did get some nice cash. Like 100x void crystals, the epic sword Blinkstrike and a lot of other things from a bank.

Yeah happened to me too, all that you have to do is mail your items, delete the account, remake EXACTLY the same, kill a mob or two, delete, repeat multiple times, and maybe transfer the items through multiple accounts or through the AH/a guild bank you just created, etc, something like that, its almost fullproof if you do it right, you CANNOT say any type of thing that makes it believe you are scamming, it will hurt you in the long run. Also don't aim too high too fast, or else this happens....

That is what i got from my weeks of doing the scam, i was foolish enough to forget to safety latch one of my packmules, but all my other guys have yet to be caught - plus the whole server's top guilds were cleaned, and the whole server was in disarray, so it got kind of hard to avoid that one completely, AND IT ALSO HELPS that you dont post millions of auctions up via one alt, because thats also suicide for you lol.

Works great! Only thing is that even if you get into the guild and get the rank that the person you are impersonating has, He might not even be able to take thing out of the bank. Happened a few times but other then that. Works flawless if you do it correctly
