I: INTRODUCING THE C.O.D SCAM. AND HOW TO DO IT

Well the scam is actualy pretty simple.
Make a level 1 char called something like (name)Bank. ive been using these names:
Superbankz
Monsterbank
Piggybanky
Superbankz
Etc. when you have made the char Run to the nearest Faction Capital. i would suggest Humans for Alliance, and Orcs for Horde.

So when you finally hit Org / SW with the bank alt. log on your main and send the bank 20-50 gold.

Log back into your bank and go to the AH and buy
10 Mark of sargeras
10 Mark of Kil'Jaeden (right spelled?)
2-5 Large Brilliant shard

Ok now you begin saying in the trade channel

WTS 250 Mark of sargeras For XXX.gold.
WTS 250 10 Mark of Kil'Jaeden for XXX.gold.
WTS 20 Large Prismatic Shard For XXX.gold

Now the "xxx" gold should be your server price for the amount of the item, Minus 20-30%

That means if on my server 250 mark of sargeras go for 200 gold i would sell them for 150 gold.

Now you should get a few whisper saying i want to buy that and that, now tell them that you are a bit late for school or something and have to go soon.

Ask them if you can send it C.O.D most people will say yes.
Now go to the mail and put in 1 of their chosen item.
heres how you normally would do it.

(Item thats gonna be used for scamming) (1)

Thats all wrong it should be like this

(item thats gonna be used for scamming) (xxx)

So an Example of a final discreption would look like this



put the desired money in and press C.O.D and send.

II: BEFORE DOING THE SCAM.
Doing this scam has kind of a big ban chance. So i would always suggest doing this on a scammed account. Now you might ask; How can i get such an account?? My answer: well do not buy one cuss that would be a waste of money. the best way to get an account that you can scam on, is scamming one yourself , I would suggest Hasselhoffs account scam. (link comming later)
I have 3 accounts im scamming on and i have earned alot of gold already.
Well now lets get on. A very good thing to do if you have 2 or more scammed accounts, Log on the bank ( the char ur gonna scam on ) and do the WTS thing. wait about 10 mins. Open another wow and login on your second wow scammed account. make another bank and say in /2 (trade)

Scamming bank responds with: No problem.
This was just something small i wanted to add cuss it can really help you.

Now this is all very fine. But doing only this will reduce your chances with about 20% so here is a list of very good things you can do.

III:TIPS AND TRICKS.

So now most people will be like: Zomg WTf we already know this Reposter!
And well sure you do but i think i know why it dosnt really work when you try it.

So here is a list of very good things you can do.

Name your bank something normal players cant say, but dont go to crazy cuss then players will get suspicious, here are a few examples.

Illøbánk (the "I" in the beginning looks like an "l" and can confuse players)
lïllæbank
Supårbænk
Ølbånk
Danish Keyboard ftw.

Get a mage to make you a portal to Darnassus/thunderbluff
Why? Well have you ever noticed how many players are in those locations?
(im not sure about thunderbluff cuss i play alli)
Well it is very very very low! about 8 level 70's and a lot of low levels.
So just here last time i scammed i got a whisper from a guy saying: "Why are you in darnassus, are you trying to scam or something?"
And i was like: uhm wtf can i tell him back. So i just thought for a minute and then i made up a few excuses.

Stormwind and Ironforge/ Orgrimmar and undercity is too crowded. i have a very slow computer and it just cant hold it. so i only had this chance to go to Darn/TB.

I like Darnassus much better than stormwind, its just more comfortable being in darn/TB

I know the whole city, and i just havent got time to explore SW, IF, ORG, UC (what ever you make as excuse).


These were just a few excuses.

Well Normally high level players that buy your item is in shattrath, and is not bothered by just taking the portal, doing the trade, and take heartstone. so here are some "I have to go, can i send C.O.D?" excuses.

Tell him in the middle of the chat, that you will brb.
wait 2 min and tell him your dad/mom is pissed about you are playing too much. and that you have to log off and help her in the garden. ask him then if its possible to send it C.O.D

When he says he will come to you just tell him not to cuss you have the items on your main, wich is in Tanaris/Ashenvale/ what ever, and you will send it C.O.D from him.

Also like in the first one tell him that you will brb.
when you come back tell him that the company that brings you the internet just called, and they have to close down the internet for an hour. tell him that they already is begun shutting down. And you will send it fast C.O.D, (seem rushed).

Now how to get the gold transfered to your main account without noone noteing.
Well there are several ways. ill tell you the ways that i have been using.

Go to the nearest auction house with your main (must be just a little bit crowded).
go into a crowd where many players are standing viewing auctions.
Open up another wow and go with your scammerbank into the crowd.
Open trade and give the gold.

Q: Why not just meet somewhere else?
A: Well if people noticed you were scamming and you just come out in the puplic and targets your main and they both stand still for a moment and then the bank logs off. well isnt that just a little suspicious?.

Another easy way is just to make an auction on your main and then make your bank buy it.

Another way is to go on your bank and send a mail to your main.
it should be like this

From: (scammerbankname)
Description: Gold i owe you
Text: Hey mate i finally farmed you the gold on my main, ill always try to pay back as fast as i can, but i just really needed that Mount/epic.

Send it and 10 minutes after open mail again and write this
Oh sorry i send it wrong, can you please send me the gold back?.

On your main log on and just send the gold back in silver.
Example: if you got 1000 gold from your bank then send only 10 gold back. this might screw up blizzards logs :P.

I love what i earned, this is just a little bit of what ive earned.


Now when we are talking about ruining blizzards logs. i wrote this guide a long time ago. but i have no idea if it works. ill just add it

1> When you have found a name for your Scammerbank use the same name over and over again.
2> Make the character.
3> Delete him.
4> log on a second account and make a char on the same server called Eactly the same.
5> Delete him and go on your own account again.
6> Repeat step 2, 3 and 4 a 2 or 3 times.
7> Make the char on your own account and do the scam.
8> after the scam, Delete the char and do step 2, 3 and 4 again a few times.

REDUCE CHANCE OF BING BANNED BY 25%

After the scam go to you wow directory
C/:/Program files/World of warcraft or something like that.
there should be a folder called "Wtf" go into it and press "account"
Find the accounts you scammed with and delete them.
now go back to your directory, delete the folder called "Cache"
this should reduce great

Yes it took time, i was sitting for long time writing xD. but ive used the scam much, and i will suggest everyone do the scam before it gets too well known.

When the mail with the items arive to the victim, can't he see that it says Mark Of Kil'Jaeden (1) but you wrote (250)?
Allways wondered about it.

Yes he can, but since people dont use C.O.D so much they are not aware of it.

So just as koss4n said, you can also send 25 or 2 or whatever to make it look a bit better. but it still aint 100% success
