This is a nice little trick.
req: 2 Accounts with the same last name!
1 step: Go find a buyer and make him buy it.
2 step: Go to the page on worldofwarcraft and transfer your character from the selling account to your real account ( This will take a couple of hours )
3 step: Sell the account and give him all info.
After a couple of hours the character is transfered, and the buyer does now have a account with the character!

Paypal wont provide any support in this instance. For exactly the same reasons that ebay wont let you list characters anymore.
By real world standards WoW or any MMO accounts do not hold any real world monetary value. By gamers standards of course they do, we see it every day but by law your wow account is not worth one red cent. |

Am I missing something? Liek, why should you actually give him the REAL acc info while you can also give him REAL TRIAL acc info? I dunnow how you actually intend to sell it, but what I think is that you first show the character ingame, then you exchange info, if that so then you are better off giving trial acc info instead of your real acc info...saves you money....or am I really missing something? |

Yes Mobal you could also do that, but the buyer would be more comfortable if he gets the real account.. He can see the char is still on the account, but at sometime the character will disapear. And the buyer only recieved a empty account. |

The thing is, that during the transfer, you can't play on the character. It will then say "The character is in a process of a transfer" or something, thus he can't play on it and then he will know that you are trying to scam him. | |
