First of all, this scam is 100% mine, I take 100% credit for it. If you do it right, there is a very low ban rate.

Requirements:
- WoW account with playtime
- trial account
- pen and paper

They can get pretty expensive. If anyone doesn't know what this "pen" object I'm talking about it, it's a new invention...it's this magic wand thing that makes small colored streaks on a piece of paper. They're a bit hard to find at the moment , so if anyone needs one I'll be happy to mail you one for around 5000g.

The Scam:

1. On your subscription account, make 5 or so human characters with names like "DupeIDXthree", "DupeIDXfour", etc.


2. On your trial account make another human character named something along the lines of "Iteachduping". Run it to Stormwind.


3. Run through Stowmwind saying "Teaching how to dupe for free, no risk involved, no scam! Add me to your friends and psst!"


4. Usually you'll get a ton of whispers from people who think you're scamming. This is GOOD, this is what you want. Their bitchy little attitude will be their downfall.


5. Tell them to make a character on (any other server) with the same name as one of the characters you created on you main's account earlier. DO NOT let them know you have those characters.


6. Now when they log back into the character you met them on, tell them to meet you at the mailbox.


7. Now tell them to mail any amount of gold ending in 6 (106,1006, etc.) to the character they just created. Feel free to add in any fake code to the mail...Title, message, etc.

Most of them are in a "Do it quick to expose this scammer" mindset. They think the character is theirs, and usually forget you can't send mail to another server.


8. Log into your character with the same name and...voila! They accidentally sent the gold to YOU.

NICE! ok, i just tried it, with a random script like

put this script into the Message section of the mail /script ?run=double;charactername=dupescript/Battlegroup=Bloodlust;Authentification=13rk340rpsscrpg402

and i told them, [make sure to make your character on another server of the same battlegroup]

and it worked, got 3 people to do it so far, one guy said it didnt work so he did it again!!!!!

i've gotten a bunch of primals and gold off of this because people want to double their stufff... nice!

You can also say your teaching how to send server --> server mail...tell them to make the character on the other server and send the mail (they can just mail it from that character to their main twink) and once again...free gold.
