I'm sorry if this scam is a repost, I simply have no time to check every single scam thread to find it out.

I think it's got a good success rate, and I'm not sure if it's even bannable.

Open trade chat and offer some Aldor signets / medallions, whatever in exchange for their Scryer equals. The best offer is 5-10, it's small enough not to be a big loss, and big enough for people to get interested in the trade.

When you got a buyer, he'll probably ask you where you are to complete the trade. Tell him you're far away and you can't trade in person, so it's better to use the mail.

He might agree or not. Anyway, you tell him that you have been scammed before, so you would like to do it with security.
To explain what you do, you have to do it in this EXACT way:

"I think we could send each other a COD, so you get my gold for your signets, and then you get my stuff, and everyone is happy. I think 100g will be secure enough".

I can't stress enough you have to explain like this. Why? You have to make it look like it's great for him, if you look at it carefully, the phrase refers ONLY to the parts in which HE gets money or signets, not the other way. If you're lucky, the guy will accept. Then here comes the tricky part.

Send the COD with 100g and the signets, and wait till his one arrives. As you might know, mails with items take a while to come in, but his add-ons will record the email coming in at the moment you send it. So just when you get his COD, send another item back, a bullet or some food, so he gets the addon alert (if he didn't have an addon, no problem, it won't show anything), whisper the guy and say "Okay, there goes your gold ^^, you can send whenever you want"

If you're lucky, the guy will accept your COD before waiting yours to come. It happens more than you think. 100g is not such a big amount but you can do it with lots of people at the same time. The success rate is like 1/5, good enough to make some gold.

To prevent bans you know what to do... Use alters, delete and re-make for cleaning logs... Etc.

Sure it's a repost? Please ppl be serious, there are maybe SIMILAR scams, but... Exactly with this method? I'd like to see a link. If there's no link, every "repost" thread is confusing everyone and preventing me to get any rep...
