How to NOT get banned when you have scammed someone. (Unsure if this is old) - 01-13-2008

Mmmkey. The Title is a lie. This scam does not make you unbannable. But it lowers the chance yetanymore. To a 'point' somewhere between low and VERY low.

I seen this been written before, but not exactly like _this_.
Anyway, to those who havent seen it this may be nice.

In MANY threads I see ppl write "FAIL, GM REPORT, YOU >> BANNED".
When some1 finds out, an new or old scam in this forum, the most only thing that happends is that it fails, ppl write that when some1 is gonna report you and your account and little lvl 1 scamchar for scaming and bam you got yourself a 72h ban. Which is true, obviously.

/nod.

Listen to this then.

I hope everyone know by now that delete the char you used to scam with does not make you unbanable.

Blizzard and their gamemasters logg like almost EVERYTHING they CAN.

So also, creating a char, scamming, delete and create one with exactly the same name does not remove your "tail" or the logg either.

They see it.

/nod

This "removescamcharcreatenewchar" removes some of the %-ic chance of you being banned, but it is most likely not SAFE.

How to do it "safe" then?

First, this "remove trace scam" is used after you scam someone in style with that you create a lvl 1 alt and make a trade scam, this aint so good to use with your main or whatsoever. Follow my guide.

HIGOLETSGO!

1. Create an alt scamchar, Name it, for example "BankXorguecvilol"
(use many "weird" letters that is hard to remember)
(REMEMBER; facials, haircolor and so on)

2. Create an another alt scamchar. Name this one "BankXorguecwilol"
(make this one EXACTLY (like a clone) of your number 1 alt. Same hair and everything)
(change one letter in the name to someone else with this one, try to not change "too" much!)
(v=w=yes | v=v=no | v=q=no | v=n=maybe)

3. Go online with both chars and run each of them to example Ironforge, if that shall be your "scamarea". Make them stand on EXACTLY the same place when its time to scam.

4. Loggin on your "number 1 alt". Find a victim in /2.

5. Do your scam.
(This maybe works best when you have been invited to a party, talked a bit and then made a "tradescam".

6. Now.
Lets say you did a "tradescam".
(You changed the amount of gold in the tradewindow the last second, for example)

Exactly when your scam is SUCCESSFUL, leave the party and loggout, delete your "number 1 alt" (FAST AS ****ING HELL!) and the loggin on your "number 2 alt".

7. /w the victim and maybe invite him to a party again. Tell him that you got dc and say that you are sorry and that everything is laggin and stuff. He is going to say that you scammed him, you must now tell him that you DID NOT. And be like "please do not report me I havent scammed you ". Act like a sad 6 yearold or something, act stupid. But not to stupid. Stay online and keep talk when he writes they ticket. Be postive, tell him like "I hope they see what happend".

8. Meanwhile, victim thinks your a ****ing tard, he writes the ticket to reports you. He reports, as in the example, an lvl 1 gnome named BankXorguecwilol for scamming him.

9. Same night he gets an answer, GM's have checked BankXorguecwilol's logg. He have not done anything wrong, infact, he havent done ANYTHING at all. Not revieved money or not even traded anything.

10. Spend your money at stripping Nightelfs and drink ale, etc.

11. Sneak on your victim with your main and see him make a /cry.

12. /comfort him. (RISKY)

Note: Turn your addons OFF to make best preformance.

SORRY IF SOMEONE HAS WROTE EXACTLY THE SAME AS ME.
THIS WAS A MODIFIED "AFTERSCAM".

Also, I found out (from a guild-mates name) that rn on WoW (using the default font) look nearly the same as m.
(Guild mates name 'Horno'. Looks like the r and n are joined. ^^)

So, instead of V and W, could do that...

Because of the lvl?
Well. I use bankchar. You use bankchar to I hope. My main got all bankslots taken up. Its easy, and it dosent cost you anything. If you have a profession you surely use bankchar anymore.

Aye ppl get scammed from bankchars, aye. But you dont really expect being scammed if you use as in the example, trade. Cuz its one if blizzard creation; mailbox, trade, AH. Many ppl think its "safe". Like buying stuffs from AH. "I aint gonna lose money if buy this item"(lol). So to hard I don't think it shall be.

But then you will loose the gold that you scammed. I would do this without deleting the character.

Err... he has a point. The gold will be gone along with the 1st alt. Might as well keep him, then log onto him once the victim runs off to cry in a corner.

I'm just wondering one thing:

Won't the GMs be able to see who your victim traded to? Then they would see that is in fact bank alt 1 and not bank alt 2.

All You need to do in order to quickly log out is stand by a mailbox in Iron Forge (for example), and have both the trade bar and the mail box open at the same time, as soon as he hits trade, put in gold then log and delete.
