| Retrieval of a sold account
Right so searched and saw similar but not same, and my apologies if it's been posted.
If you sell someone your account and made the mistake of giving them the secret question/answer or maybe had legitimate intent to sell them the account without taking it back, I have a fix. All of this is assuming that the recipient of the account has intent of fighting to get it back, and gives blizz regular calls to reset the email and keep retrieving it.
If he keeps doing that, then you can email blizzard and tell them that there has been an account compromise. They'll lock the account and you can fax them a copy of your license w/ their form and then that will be the only way to change the account info. The people you sell to will no longer be able to call up Blizzard and request password/email changes/resets. The only way they'll be able to do anything is by having your drivers license or some form of ID. |
