Don't get Banned for Scamming... That sucks...

Greetings Scammers,
Now there are a couple other posts out there letting you know how to deal with not getting banned. Piggy would have to have some of the best advice, although i am here to give you some more.

First of all, i am here to offer my help...i have been scamming for years. So you can read and absorb my information, but please don't flame me...it's not very nice

---------Let's Begin----------------------

1. When scamming someone, try (when you can) to avoid using your main character. As you are most active on the character and you don't want people to know who you really are.
Even better, if you can, get a secondary account... i use a different account for scamming.

2. The character you are going to scam with, should at least be a decent level. 40+ will usally work. People selling level 70 epics will be a little suspicious when a level 1 says they buy the item straight away.

3. DO NOT SAY YES STRAIGHT AWAY... haggle with the dealer a little...sometimes it will work, sometimes it wont. No matter what though, you will win in the end. If you haggle they are immediatly going to think your interested.

4. Choose a unique name. Don't run around with "usshdwej" or "scammedyou" (yes i have seen it before), Choose a name that people will think your serious about. Like "Backstabbeth" level 49 rogue. They may even comment on the coolness of your name.

5. Be polite and try not to sound "lyk sum1 dat neva went 2 skool YO!" Let them know you have been looking for that item for ages, and your happy they have it..blah blah blah.

---------The Actual Scam----------------------

1. Get it over an done with fast, don't hang around and rub it in their face that they just lost 1,000g...anything like this can be used against you. Quick clean scam, then log.

2. Now you can get onto another account and start scamming again, keep in mind most people after being scammed go straight to "/1 OMG ???? IS A SCAMMER", noone ever cares, but if you see this on your second account. Message the victim, and try to calm them down. Let them know that there are some server problems, or whatever...find out if he wrote a ticket or not.

1. Do not freak out, half the time GM's don't do anything.

2. Log onto the account you jsut scammed with, and send the item or gold to yourself...by this stage you will get a very hateful tell from your victim. Now it's time to play dumb.
Not like your retarded, pretend your brother was on the computer just before you were.. explain that he had to leave in a hurry, so you got on. (Props to Piggy - Your the Pigman) Beg for him not to report you, and let him know you will ask your brother as soon as he gets back... basically lie to him and tell him he will get his shit back, if he doesnt report you.

3. Now by this point, you have sent yourself the loot, GM's can not take it from another account other than the one that is being accused. For example, the scammer might owe a certain player X amount of gold, or an item. So your main is in the clear.

4. If still, after all your effort, GM Jackass whispers you about the situation. Just say you have no idea what's going on. You have a 40+ character, which takes alot of time... so your not going to go and throw that away by scamming someone. The GM has no proof you actually did it, so you may get suspended for a day...big deal... you just succesfully scammed some poor bastard.

GMs are smarter than you think.
You can also get banned for ANYTHING they feel like banning you for.

Yup. Like the time I got banned for wall jumping, which the GM thought was hacking, (even said so in the email I got, that I was using 3rd party programs) even though I wasn't.. but it's clear in this that the GMs DO NOT investigate most of the time, it's all BS. They'll just ban you if they've had a bad day at work.

Haha, i must admit then guys, the GM's are slacking, or your werry unlucky! I have been suspended a few times, but not banned.

Lol, the GMs do have proof you did it. You think they rely on information from the person who reported?
