This is my new e-mail template, i have gotten 4 accounts TONIGHT!
I don't know if i'm getting better at scamming or if people are getting stupider.
Here is the template: Code: Greetings,
This is an automated notification regarding your World of Warcraft account. It is the belief of Blizzard Entertainment that your account may be in jeprody. This belief was alligated due to an increasing ammount of IP (Internet protocall) adresses logging in to your account.
If these IP changes are from you, please ignore this E-mail.
If they are not, there are step's we need to take to keep your account secure. Here at Blizzard, customer security is a top priority, you pay for the game, which means you deserve all protection we can offer you.
In order to protect your account, you must send us YOUR IP adress. There are several web servers that can tell you how (http://www.whatsmyip.org)
We must also make sure that you are the origional owner of this account.
Please send the following information to our account manager (YOUR E-MAIL ADRESS HERE!)
Account name
Password
First name
Last name
E-mail adress registered to the account
Secret question/answer
Home adress registered to the account
Cd-Key's of both games
Phone Number registered to the account
Once all of this information is recieved, expect a call from Blizzard entertainment very soon.

Some parts down-right sound like they're from someone who doesn't even speak English well. To be perfectly honest, there's lots of spelling errors. It looks incredibly fake.
Would you like me to point out the errors, so as to improve the template?

Reputation: 417 Points: 13,899, Level: 15 | Level up: 22%, 1,101 Points needed | | | | Maybe change the "Please ignore this email" part into "Then please fill in this form" , most people wow at an internet cafe, or lan parties, or at someones house, name it, so often they think that it is because of that that Blizzard sends them that email regarding about the I.P Changes.
O well, its a nice template and all and a little more original then those "We are contacting you because we found out that you are trading/selling etc.." like the idea about the I.P change. |
