I do this all the time with xboxlive free month codes, last time, I was in line for halo 3 and i literally opened a box up and read the code to my brother as he entered it into his phone. With 20+ people around. Hehe

Some may think that it is illegal to capture a key such as the one in this thread but you have to realize that hacking someones wow account is even more illegal. If someone buys the game and the key has been used, they can get another one if they contact blizzard. You will get in more trouble for stealing a candy bar than opening a box.

That's awesome man. Great idea! To add on to your idea, you could like kneel down and hold the box in one of the shelves, make it look like you're digging around for shirt sizes or something. I was actually thinking about this the other day.

this isnt a good idea.
If someone goes and buys the same copy of wow with the CD key that you have already taken a picture of and used, then that CD key will be invalid. This may cause blizzard to investigate and track the account back to you, meaning the account will be banned and you may be fined.

Alternatively instead of taking a picture of the CD key just take the card that the cd key is on, and put the box back. Of course you will be ****ed if you get caught but the aim is to not get caught, so don't. This way if someone buys the same copy of wow that you stole the card from and realizes that there is no card and reports this to blizzard, they will not be able to track you (unless they can see what the CD key was by looking at the bar code which you can rip off xD). simple
