Get free gamecards from newbs on Markee

Hey MMOWNED!

This is another idea I had and tested. It works pretty well too. Its all about scamming Markee newbs who want to buy gold.
-
1) First you need to go on markee. Register a new account and look for somone with a TWV(Trust Who Verified) link in their sig. Put that link with the TWV image in YOUR sig so it looks like you are TWV. Next, you need to upload an avatar. Do something that makes you seem legit, like a PAY-PAL verified image. Now that your appearance is set, the next step is to make a post.

2) Now we need to make a post advertising gold selling. It should seem something like this:
TITLE=WTS 2200g
SUBJECT=
"Hey markee, I have a deal for you guys. I currently have 2200 gold on (insert server name here) that I am willing to sell. I'll sell the 2200 gold for a game card. Contact me via AIM. AIM=(insert sn here)"
Now just sit back and wait for the plenty of messages you will be getting.

3) Ok, once you get a message you need to start talking. Tell them that the account with the gold on it ran out of game time and that you can give him the gold once you get the game card code. He shouln't see a problem with this so long as you seem legit on the forum. To make yourself seem even more legit you should ask them to reply on your post (because that seems to be a way to stop some fraud to a lot of people). Once you get the gamecard code... well thats it. Put it in and once you have it you can use it or sell it. If you use it make sure that they didn't type it wrong or if it is a real code before you tell them, "HAHA NEWB THNX FOR THE CODE ROFL!!!!". Otherwise its all that work for nothing.

*TIP: Make your SN be something like "Gold_for_card" or something.

I'm pretty sure this isn't fool-proof. But, It seems like a good idea.

I remember reading somewhere that they can contact Blizzard about a gamecard, IE: if they bought one from a store and it didn't work or was already scratched (As people used to do). And they either, cancel out the account that has the stolen card key... or something. Can't remember.

I can see how people might think that, but I also heard that Blizzard wont back you up on that since they don't want people trading in-game currency for either out-of-game currency or items or services, and vice-versa. Which is why I would just trade it for a cd key or something or sell it. You can do lots with a gamecard code.

Possible improvement, Say you are from a gold for card trading website, i know there are some out there. When you sign up for Markee get a name close to their website and then post as if you were from there.

Well that could be a possible improvment but with TWV and PPV your sure to
get it no matter what imo...

I also noticed that to TWV pic
doesn't have the golden border
like the other ones i've seen...
would this be a problem?

Naw, it shouldn't make a difference, you can change the image if you want but I don't see how it would make someone see anything fishy.
