What would a proxy do for you? You realize that people can basically do nothing with your IP right? And if they are advanced enough to **** with you just from having your IP then a proxy wouldn't help you anyways.

ehh, lol.. If you have picture of your Credit card with the SAME name as the account owner, they will reset the pw and email for you, look here noobs: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

It's true. I faxed a copy of my DL to blizz because my account was "compromised"

Before the other person knew my secret question and would just call pretending to be me and have the email changed to their account, but now you can't call them on the phone regarding my account. They have to receive a fax with identification in order to do anything.

The reason this isn't bullet proof is because if ANYONE has the correct first and last name of an account, the SQ and SA then they can retreive the account and get the e-mail changed to theirs. So if you sell an account and you pull it back and think you're scotch free you might be wrong. You can never change a SQ/SA so the person you sold it to can literally re-call it over and over and over aslong as he has the correct SQ/SA and last name. All they have to do is call up blizzard and talk to john smith for 10 minutes and cha-ching.

Oh this of course happens until your account is permanently banned due to blizzard not being able to confirm an owner: /

This might not be the case with every sold and recalled account but it's happened to me and i've lost a 70 druid over this same thing :[

I would do this, i really would. But the thing is, they can screw me over IRL? Like, reporting me to the police, taking me to court or something like it. I mean, im taking their money, and i guess thats pretty bad? They wont exactly be happy over it, and will surely do something about it.

guys, i got some really good info regarding stealin accounts back after you sell them.

once you take the account back, they will try and get there money back, by telling the paypal peeps that u took your product back....all you have to do is say it was over a world of warcraft account, and they will let you keep the money.

they dont refund things over virtual property, which paypal is...i know, its happend to me lol....

dont wanna be a mooch, but it would be coo if i can get some rep for this info, i dont wanna be a lazy leacher lol.

also, forgot to say my advice....i would only do this for prices around 150 to 200 bucks, that way u arent jacking hella money from them.....and in regards to them being able to just call blizz and get the account back...do your sales over the weekend, becuase most people will call blizz, and verify that u gave them all the correct into (by pretending to need a password reset) so, if you do the sale over the weekend, they cant call in, and in most cases they wont wanna wait till monday, and wait on hold for 20 minutes to test the info.....so you have a better chance of success

Only main issue with this is Blizzard flagging your account, i'v used it twice so far successfully (once for a trade, once for a sale) but on the third go (A genuine hack this time ^^) my account was banned for 'illegal trading activities' so ;/

This can be used once or twice on the same account, but after that flags start flying at Blizzard
