Well, I was talking to a <Gm> yesterday on how someone stole stuff from our guild. This is what he said to me:

I'm not sure about this, however my guild was a victim of the whole 'unknown' scam. I even had a SS taken by a guildie in the middle of the night when they pulled this one off. They said they were going to take action against this person, and I haven't seen them on since.

You technically can't get banned for cleaning out you guild bank if the guild master gave you permission to be able to take stuff out, you'll just get a bad rep. on your server...

That's not true.
For example. If i changed my name to "lolmesofly" and then he spots a player called "lolmesofly" online on his friendlist, how could he know that's me?
Make him convince it's some other player. If they whisper you, just say something like :
huh? who are you, did i do an instance with you once?

So no risk at getting caught there.

Since it has now been proven to be a fact you can't get banned you can take real advantage of this with the free server transfer.

Example: You hate you guild and server but you notice free transfer for your server (Like they did recently with Illidan and such). So without telling anyone one night you sneak on and take everything you can, then transfer server and change name if you really need to.

*Poof* No more need to worry about that server and your now rich xD

well, dont forget they have logs on withdraws, you would either have to spam the guild bank in order to remove the transaction where you stole all of the stuff, or they would just call a GM and get you banned for item scamming, i would say that this is 50/50 it could go either way, the GM could follow up or he could just say what he said in the Screenie

Well.. as stated in the first post, the person was given full access to the bank by the guild GM or whoever had the powers. So I see no possible reason for a GM to ban this guy.
