Hey! This is the little scam I thought which I like to call " The web of lies "

Basically, This scam revolves around exploiting peoples trust. you could do this through a number of different IM programs, but I will say, for example, Xfire. What you do is, Say to your friend who trusts you " Hey.. My Xfire is all bugged, can you give me your username and password one sec so I can see if its just me? " They would say yes probably, after all, whats in an xfire account? Anyway, from there, you ask people on their contact list to have a go on peoples xfire, When on others, you ask everybody in the list who is playing WoW if you can have a go on their account, this might sound stupid but, eventually you will surely find somebody who trusts that person, and hands over their details.

Go to IM -> Go to OTHERS IM -> Other Other IM -> Ask people for a try on WoW account -> Scam!

The trick is to get far enough into accounts people wont realise it traces back to the original friend

Guys, with the flaming, chill the **** out.
For example, I who used to play numerous amounts of games, has 256 xfire friends. Most are just people i played with one day and added them, nothing serious. This guy isn't telling you to **** over your best friend, just someone on your xfire/aim/etc. I am sure you all arnt great friends with everyone on your IM, you may just add them for being an acquaintance so get off this guys nuts.

hehe, most people have to wrestle with their conscience to scam a complete stranger, let alone friends of friends. Plus there is plenty of risk that you will get caught before you get very far in the chain. Say goodbye to your server rep and friends.
