hi! yes i know i am a leecher and all that but that is because all the stuff i think of is alredy posted and to stop my self being flamed id just rather not make a repost but any ways.


i have an idea for a scam.
my account was legitamatlly hacked and i sent in a thing to blizz gm's so look my stuff has been hacked and told him what i had but my char olny had 13g on him at the time and i said to the gm he had like 4500 gold on the char to see what would happen i got and email from the tech support or whatever like the next day and this is what it said.

Keep in mind that even though I was able to restore your lost items, items with random modifiers like of the Bear, of the Eagle, etc. are randomly generated; therefore unfortunately I am unable to guarantee that you will receive the same modifier you had on your original item. I am also unable to guarantee the restoration of trade skills, as well as enchantments or add-ons such as gems, scopes, etc. that your character's items may have possessed.

While we will make every effort to provide assistance in cases of loss, please keep in mind that the decision to go forward with a restoration is entirely at Blizzard's discretion. But I do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and headaches you may have been caused.

i got 560g out of them lol and i olny had 13g to start off with lol so i was just thinking could u get somone do somthing to ur account like change the pword that way when u pst a gm it seem legit and say u lost gold

Should be able to work if only; GMs have the ability to check the logs. They should be able to see that you only had 13g. My guess is that you just got lucky.

gms dont keep track on how much gold u got in ur invetory, but the do however track what items obtained, deleted, sold, traded and such.

So this scam is fully operational then. Good to know. However, as posted in another topic, you only get a maximum of 3 character resets/account.
