i suggest u make ticket to gm. say that u found wotlk beta site or whatever and u thaught it vas valid but when u logged on all ur stuff was gone, its all in their logs they should be albe to see its gone. u will get ur stuff mailed to ya in a sec.

Yeah, I contacted GM and they sent me an email asking what characters were affected and how much gold and items i lost and all that!

You would think that they would just use the character and not steal everything!

Oh well.. Lets hope I get my stuff back.

okay i have 2 accounts- the one i rented out had a 70 rogue on it. i gave them the details and watched the admin profile to see when they activate it... didnt happen fora good day. then sometime during school they called my cell phone that i gave as a contact number... originated from the us, he had a chinese accent so i barely understood anything he said

*was something about ebay. so the second i got home i chanegd the password to prevent anything bad happening. i let the account cool down-still no game time added- so i go back to a different company and as i am talking to the renter i login to the account on World of Warcraft Community Site he asks for the infos and i give it to him. i know for a fact that the information worked. he comes back a few minutes later saying that the info is wrong. i go back to World of Warcraft Community Site and retype in the info..... low and behold invalid. i started putting pressure on him about it, said he was about to login and put gametime on it so they could use it. mentioned the seemingly scam about the other day and said that they dont dare work within the us. they only work out of asia and canada regions.

unfortunatly the account was my friends and he doesnt play anymore, so only way of seeing the account back is a recall. the site i went to was actually the one wtfbbq suggested using. o btw and they dont accept characters below 65 and sometime only 70's-- beware when doing the rentals and i was actually going to be legit about it too darn chinese.

Thanks for the report on woworder. I was going to rent my account to them for heroic badges (and the guy has already agreed to it) but I have not gone through it yet.

Account renting is off my list now. 8k gold in the bank and a sload of mats is a lot to loose.
