I just got home, and an idea just popped into my head.

I searched and couldn't find anything like this. Anyways, my idea is that if you wanted to get something, money perhaps, or an account trade or something, w/e I have no idea, but what you would do is make a trial account.

Make the character, then go to the Armory. Change the HTML so that it says your new trial account character is level 70, take a screenshot, and send it to them. When you sell/give/trade the account to them, give them the trial accounts username and password.

This is a stupid idea, I know, and I don't know what you can get with it, but all I'm saying is you might be able to get good things with a scam using your trial account and saying it is a full one, and making a fake Armory page.

Feel free to flame me or whatever, but I just wanted to share this.

EDIT: Just wanted to say that I am not the one who came up with the HTML changing idea. But I had an idea that sprouted from that.

nice idea, but i would also add another lowbie char (if possible on a trial account) so it looks more like a real account

who the hell would ONLY want a screenshot of the armory ? .. they would want the armory , and see ingame before they do anything .

I guess this could work for some things. But, I would rather make give the person fake information then taking the time to make a trial.
