I have come up with a new way of getting peoples passwords and taking thier accounts. I did't find any posts like this so here it is:

Look for a victim on one of the trading websites, preferably someone that is not the original owner of the account.

Open up AIM, and talk with him, show him some really nice character, full merc or something, and say u are interested in trading. Keep it around the gear the victim has.

When the part to see in game comes up, tell him ur on a comp w/o wow. Say to him, that he can go on ur account, and the scamme(you) will go on the forums with his user name and password that u guys exchanged to see if his characters exist. Give the guy random user names and passwords, if he says they are not right, tell him to make one of the letters a capital, that will leave the person stumbled for a min, then realizin that there are no caps in passwords.

By that time you have changed the persons password, and if they dont do auto retrieve in the next few min, then u got urself a scammed account, and it prob;y won't be stolen, because the guy probly isnt OO. GL

I'll have to agree that a Username / Password is nothing.
OO can retrieve at any time, so those 5 minutes on someone else's account isn't worth the time invested IMHO.
