This is by far the best scamming technique I've seen and used. I used this before i read it, and got 2 accounts. Just got another one trying it out again tonight 70 dwarf warrior. Some tips, tell them you want to change email and exchange info first because you had some people who stole your gold last time you tried to trade. and when you finish scamming make sure to make it seem like you cant get on either account. you dont want the person to be sure you're a scammer. make him wonder.

also i aim for accounts that are <70 or really badly geared. Most of the people i talk to have no idea about trading or retrieving accounts. You want to take control of the chat and tell them how YOU want the trade to go. i usually get a pic of my Paid Character Transfer Screen and change the name to the armory i link and level to 70 or w/e you're using and send it them.

EDIT: Oh and if you're a firefox user like most people I've noticed i suggest using the Kaizou add on, its better than JS because it doesnt change the link colors or anything. just a tip... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] thats the website if ya wanna check it out

When changing the email you should use the html code

That code when entered in the address bar allows you to modify the page.

Change the only letter you can see on the email to whatever the first letter of their email is.

Example: His email is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and yours is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Change the "s*** " under email to "L*** "

Perma ban risk via ip. MAKE SURE YOU USE A PROXY. Even so, after having password changed and the email of the accoutn set to your email. Both accoutns i had were recovered in less than half an hour.

@Benchwarmer -- Glad it's working for you. I prefer using the JS over Kaizou because it bogs down my computer for some reason. It is easy to get the blue link color to go away though, all the bars on the side of the WoW site can be minimized so that they look normal. Then you just take a screenshot of the page far enough down that their is none of it.

FYI- I just recently had a problem with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] They havn't sent me my payment for one of my scammed accounts in 2 days yet. Doesn't matter to much though since it was only a scammed one.

@Vietx28 -- a PCT is Paid Character Transfer, you can go through part of the process to choosing which character you want to transfer and taking a picture of it, showing that it is really on the account.

@blackcrank123 -- You must be doing something wrong because even if they called Blizzard they still have to prove their photo ID. They could fax it but chances are they will be on hold for well over 30 minutes.

I don't have screenshots I just give away to leechers :P , if I gave that away you would probably just need an account to go along with it. You can still try to scam and hope you get lucky and they just believe you. It has happened to me a couple of times.

If it's not working for you, you're doing it wrong. You should be looking for newer people to sites, and start with people who are level 50ish too because its more likely they wont know anything about retrieving the account and eventually give up.

Oh and i checked out the account renting thing, and wow is it amazing!!! keep it on the dl so a lotta people dont know about it lol, i dont want them to stop the service lol

THIS IS THE BEST SCAM THERE IS!!!! it just takes some time to get used to! if you failed just try again. if they recover just move on. its the most successful and complete scam there is. you get email change/SQA/Last name and everyting!!! i had done this before and sold 2 <60 accounts for 110$, one got recovered and i had to refund but thats with one day of work!!!!

Just scammed an undead rogue using this, everything worked perfectly, great scam. I got all the info tried to trade it quickly but the OO recalled within 15 minutes, no biggie though. Once again great post and +rep (when i'm able to).

Nice, once you get one scammed it becomes easier and easier, I can do up to 4 or 5 scams at one time.
