I guess someone must've figured this out by now but i checked the first 3 pages of Guild Scams and couldn't find anything close to mine...
This scam is basically a mix of all guild scams that were posted this last month.
Requirements:
A friend who plays WoW. 70 pref.
Knowledge of the people in the guild that you are scamming.
So what i did was a went on Armory and searched up the guild i wanted to scam.
I then targeted an officer and asked my friend to search the guild on /who ant tell me if he is online or not and who else is online.
Then i made my character as the (officers name)bank.
Then i whispered a random person in his guild and said that I'm (the officer)
I would have a friendly conversation with them and then i would get down to business.
(NOTE: by now your friend would should have done his job by inviting a person from that guild into a group for an instance and talk friendly to that person and get information out of him.)
I would then ask him for mats/enchanting material/etc for my bank since i want to buy low sell high.
Mostly they will say log onto your main and do it.
Usually i respond that either i have a sibling playing on that account or my character is under investigation for scamming or something.
Then they will feel suspicious and ask what nicknames they use in the guild or on what boss they are on in kara or in SSC.
This is the part where your friends information comes in and your friend will tell you since he found out from another player from that guild in his group.
Then you answer his question the guy sends u a smiley and sends u money/materials.
I got my epic flying mount like this in a total of 28 hours of scamming.
The biggest amount i received was 700g.
