Well, everyone who visits this forum i'm sure at one point stumbled upon the whole "rent your account" for x dollars a day bit, well... I found something about.
When they farm the account on your characters they generally leave the gold on your toon for a while until they can sell it, so if you are a slow population server and demand is low... they might stock pile about 2k-10k on your toon. And since you can get "your account back whenever you want it" there is nothing stopping you from posting "your" gold for sale for 40 dollars per 1k. It sounds a little shady, but there isn't much rental companies can do about it since they expect Americans and other players not to realize they are making about 115 dollars a day renting your account and giving you 10; and then shit shafting you when blizzard gives you the ban hammer. Since there are so many rental companies you can scam about 3-4 of them without even getting a warning on your account. And trust me, Markeedragon and other various websites are a great place to help sell your gold. =}

So needless to say, in the long run you are stealing about 100 or so bucks from the rental guys, and a final payment of about 100 or so + from just gold they farmed. And if you get screwed over on a trade, say blizzard banned the account for three days and you got a warning, when they get back on it and the gold is gone, just claim you have no idea. Chinese people are dumb as hell and have the work force to just farm it back. I've been doing this for about... 10 weeks now, I'm sitting on about 3000 dollars from corrupt business practice.
Technically you aren't doing anything wrong since it is YOUR ACCOUNT, and they try to make that aspect very clear when they use it, so when YOUR ACCOUNT violates TOS, they can say they'll powerlevel you a new char, blah blah, full of shit. Just take the cash and split. And there are enough sites renting characters out that if you time it right you can probably be gone with the good loots before they even realize it.
I'm sure someone else already came up with this already, i'm just a little too lazy to lurk this forum since most of it is is a little beyond my morality. ... but if you can believe it, exploiting chinese workers is just fine with me.
