Hello, I did just come up with this scam in my head, I haven't tested it yet so I don't know if it works. I've searched and I didn't find anything similar to this.

My idea is like this:

If you got disconnected and didn't loot a mob, couldn't you say to a gamemaster that it was some good item and that you just were about to loot it, but WoW started to lag (or something like that) and you got DC. And when you tried to log in again you got the error "Unable to connect".

Mabye it's obvious to the GM that you're trying to scam but if it works it would be nice.

the gm probably wouldnt care. i tried something like that and he said "Bad luck, there is nothing we can do about it. Sorry!"

I´ve tried this but they only say: Sorry, we can not reimburse this item since it was not in your inventory. Or something like that

IDD dose suck...
But you can scam with the reimburse items, my war *pre tbc*' i used to get thunderfury *Whistles* and on my mage i just used it like a week ago to get The Maelstrom's Fury =O

there are gms who actually are nice to give you the item!

Jsut theother day i was farming some yetis (my pal got 4 Epic 49 twink gun 'Precisely Calibrated boomstick under 2 hours!) and then i loot the gun. But it seems i lagged right before a world save. i got DC and logged on. the gun AND the yeti corpse was gone. wrote a ticket and he was like ''bla bla bla When? bla bla from what? bla bla. i got the gun since i wanted to sell it You have a LOW chance to get such a gm! GMs who dont care are So called LAZY

sorry but this will never work because GM's cannot reimburse items a GM once ported me because i was stuck in a glitchy spot and i fell through the world and died and i had to get rez sickness and i asked if he can repair my gear that he broke! and he said that he can't even reimburse that so i doubt they are going to give you a nice shiny epic.
