Hello everyone. Verbal here with a new scam for the regular members.
Really it is not that much different than the turtle mount scam but in alot of ways it was. I figured this one out because someone busted me when i was trying to sell the "Tabard of Frost". They asked what card it was.
Its not a card. Its points off an upper deck online account. You get these points from buying wow tcg cards.
So here is what you do.
Make a level 1 on a scammed account on your home realm. Make another level one on a scammed account or the same account.
Go to a main city.
Advertise in trade.
WTS Ude points account. 25,000 points. Enough for Ogre costume and many Tabards of frost. Pst.
The whispers you get will be from people that actually know about the tcg and the ude accounts. I would say sell the account for 600g. Tell them they can buy losts of frost tabards and sell them to friends if they want to make money back. This was my selling point.
If they ask about the level 1 thing just say no one on your home realm wanted it or something.
Now tell them its alot of points and you don't wanna get scammed. So they can either give you 3/4 of the money up front and the the name/pass after. Or you can give them the password then they trade you the money and they get the username after. They will probably opt to give you 3/4 of the money up front and then log into the account to check it out. If they ask how do i know this is not a scam or do you have proof that you have the account and points then send them the link to a screen shot like this. If they ask why you are on a level 1 say people on your home realm are poor or/and no one wanted to buy it. Tell them your going to trade the gold they give you for real cash.
You can make a fake account that they can really log into if you want. otherwise just give them a BS username/pass.

Done the Turtle moun/Spectral tiger mount loads of times on my server, but no one would buy it anymore because they all know it's a scam =)

i gotta say, this is pwnage.
I mannaged to scam 320g 10 mins into it,
but i was so nervous that i managed to somehow
delete all of it.. i am so pissed right now..
SO.. all in all, this scam is great.
But i feel bad now, and someone just lost
320g and so did i =,(
