na na na na, na na na, na na cant touch dis! Lol anyway heres the post.
Ok I just got kicked from a guild and I was pissed and wanted to get back at 'em so i thought of this. A lot of warcraft players are incompitent and may fall for a simple trick which is where the tag of this thread comes in.
I decided to make an alt that was lvl 1 and talk to the guild master saying I am one of the high ranking officers (look on armory to get some names) and ask to be invited and promoted to that officer's rank as an alt your lvling.
Now the fun comes in. If he does make your alt an officer you can do many things such as: wait untill he logs off then /gpromote yourself to guildmaster, /gkick or /gdemote him from guildmaster or just boot every member and kill the guild  .
Also if you want you can have a member inside the guild pay you to make him the guild master which I guess would make this a scam lol.

Good idea, however you cannot promote someone to a rank higher, or equal to, your own. You would only be able to promote people to one rank below you and you could do nothing to the guild leader. |

Yeah, there is. Make a macro with /gpromote <name here> as many times as fits, then just spamclick it. It should bug up and get the person stuck at guild master rank.

In fact Dalamar, it DOES work, at least it did like 2 months ago, I haven't tried it since. This is quite a good idea however quite often (If its a good guild) They'll ask you to log to your main for a sec just to verify that it is actually you. |

Maybe medium sized guilds that raid too. If i had an eu account i would try this to nihilum if that worked i'd be famous and hated lol.

I'm assuming they'll probably try to fix that bug while implementing the guild banks in the 2.3 changes.
