Easy Internet Explorer Proxy

I noticed alot of unprotected scamming going on. Alot of you are aware of the value of proxies, yet are too lazy to go out and download programs like Tor or Proxyway. For those of you using Internet Explorer, I am about to share with you a little known secret that lets people with I.E use proxies without downloading anything.

To hide your identity on the internet when performing scams on gold-selling websites and when registering your phishing sites, it is important to use a proxy. A proxy is like using a fake I.D. to buy beer. They think you are someone else, and if they ever try to find you, you don't exist.

There are many great places to find proxies to use. You could use the internet of the person next door as a proxy, but there are also lists online that contain proxies.

A few good sites that I use are:

STEP 1: At the top of your screen select Tools from the main bar at the top of Internet Explorer.

STEP 2: Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.

STEP 3: Go to the Connections tab and click the Lan Settings button.

STEP 4: Check the Use a proxy server for your LAN box and put in the address and port of the proxy you are using. Then click Apply at the bottom of the page.

If you want to check whether your proxy is working. Visit ipchicken.com before adding your proxy and write down that number. Then when you have added your proxy. Go back to ipchicken.com and see if the number is different. If it is, then congrats, you did it!

NOTE 1: Most proxies ARE extremely SLOW. Anonymous proxies are the safest, but also the slowest.
NOTE 2: Proxies around the place you live (i.e Canada and U.S, if you live in the U.S.; France and Germany, if you live in U.K. etc...) are better choices. You are going to have a very slow connection if you live in Alaska and are connecting to a proxy in the Congo.

For firefox goto

Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Connection Settings. Then continue the end of Humps guide with the Proxy (IP Number).
