Another PL site Scam -
10-24-2007
1) Find a site that uses yahoo, hotmail, gmail etc. Basically those free ones
2) Send them an email of whatever to get them to reply so u can have their info like firstname, lastname, signature etc
3) Create an account that looks like theirs except that u use a different site. for eg, their email acount is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. you create [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
4) Go find a new order and try to get the email account of the person ordering using live chat or whatever methods.
5) Quickly send them an email with something like the below
Subject: Regarding your order (order id)
Dear Sir/Mdm,
We have tried to start your powerleveling order but found that the info you have given us is wrong. Please check again and send us the correct account name and password so we can start your order immediately.
Regards,
PLSITE.com
There, the power leveling might just believe you and send you their info. Go on and try to hack their email account if you can and you might be able to change their contact info in their account management page.
Tips:
1) Create your account just like theirs. Use their signature to make it look more real.
2) You may want to make some grammar or spelling mistakes in your mail. As far as I have seen, these sites typically make alot of mistakes in their mails. LOL
3) Try using their password on their email or something similar
4) Combine this with other scams in this forum to keep their account. eg pretending to be blizzard and tell them to provide account details to investigate a possible breach of TOS or email them to tell them they are banned for powerleveling after changing their passwords.
just a heads up, you're doing all of this in hopes they have another toon or two on this account and that i'ts not a new account (as you're doing it at the beginning of the PL service). unless you're expecting the PL company to continue to PL them and these guys won't want a refund instead...
