When you buy an item, wait 20 seconds or so, and begin saying something like: The Weapon you gave me has nearly no durability : /
can i have some money for it? i used my last on it

it worked for me lol.. some guy gave me 2 g for an item worth 20 s LOL

you can Also if ur'e selling items, make them lose durability to piss off ur buyer

....if the item is green or above you have to equip it to make lose durability therefore negating the ability to trade it (soulbound ftl)

spirit rez....put ur equip in bank and go kill urself acouple times (if ur gunna sell a broken item) and if they are dumb enough, they mite give u 2g for thinkin its broken

The game won't actually let you put up an item that has durability loss on it, or at least did a year ago. There were patch notes stating that you couldn't sell things like Brilliant Mana Oil with less than 5 charges on it as well.

thats for the auction house, if he is trading it then it would be fine.
