I have a new idea of how to prevent getting banned. You do have a probability of not getting gold at all, but keeps your name safe... Get the money on your alt (Specialy made for the scam) Mail to someone you dont know or dont like... ( ) Make an alt with the a name very close to his such for example. Person you hates name is Hojicl, make an alt named Hojick or Hojixl or somthing that looks like a common typing error (the letters mistyped in your sound alike name are letters close to the letters in the normal name located on the keyboard, In otherwords, it looks like you got careless and pressed the wrong button in the mail recipitants name). Next send some money from your main (like 1s) for money to put an item up in the AH. Run the guy to the closest major city, (Humans to SW, Undead to UC, etc..). Make an auction with one of the starting armor peices already on your new character(the shitty shirt or w/e). Put it up for like 50g less than how much you made from the scam. Wait for 30 minutes to pass since you sent the gold to the person you hate. Next log back on to your scamming character and send an E-mail to the guy you sent your scammed gold to (in this case, Hojicl). In your message say somthing like this, "Dear Character, I have accidently sent gold from my bank character to you (I have sent this message to a numerous ammount of other players.) by accident. I must have made a common typo and sent it to a different player. If this is not you please delete the message. If you have received the gold, I beg of you to send it back. I have made this deal much easier ( to prevent Blizzard from thinking this is scammed gold of some sort [<-- That part is optional lol]), I wish that you go to the Auction house and search for "(Name of shitty ass item you put in AH from that new character you made)". it should be up by a character named "Hojick (The fake name that looks like a typo which you made a character under). I wish of you to buy out the auction so I may receive my gold. for your cooaperation I have made the buyout 50g (<-- your amount less goes here) less than what I sent, therefore you shall receive a payment for your troubles.Sincerely, Hojick (or w/e you named the "typo" character)"If they comply, they will buy out the auction, and maybe be banned (why you pick someone you hate, yes its heartless, but hell, thats what scamming is about). If they don't, they get a perma ban. Last and final step to almost for sure keep you safe! (2 options here) Option 1.Walk your scamming and "typo named" characters back to the starting spot (look for a herd of level 1's with names like aksdhas who dont move, those are called gold spammers .) Option 2. Delete the scamming and "typo named" characters, and remake 2 new characters with the same class, name, and race, and do not move them from their spot (Make sure you do log onto them so they dont recieve mail that was sent to the old character, and so it looks like it has been there [VERY IMPORTANT!!!]. Open a ticket on your main saying somthing along the lines of this, "Dear Gamemaster, (Indented next line) I seem to have had a keylogger/trojan program on my computer. After logging in today I found 2 new characters on my account. I did run a spywear cleaning program on my computer and removed the trojan/keylogger. The new characters are still at their starting positions so it seems they have done nothing wrong. I do think the trojan/keylogger came from the add-on (Give a random add-on name from Curse-gaming.com in this bit here) from cursegaming (or another addon site, your choice). I was just just reporting this issue. ( If you want to look more legit, report one of the level 1's at the starting place with the weird ass name as a goldseller).Thats all! It's a bitch to do, but will most likely decrease the chance of getting a ban.

A FEW ADDITIONS: To ensure more saftey, you can use another account of your own instead of someone you hate.
Also, try to do the scam in a cafe or somewhere with free wireless internet, so its harder to bust you.
If you dont think the GM will help you mention getting the trojan/keylogger from an add-on, dont mention it =P.
