Now the COD scam was not my idea what so ever, but I've never seen these methods posted...and I can assure you that they work!



Method #1

A. I bought 10 Essence of Fire off the AH for 3g.
B. Advertise that I'm selling 5 PRIMAL FIRE for fairly cheap (~110g)
C. Get a tell from 2 buyers, and claim you will COD it to them
D. COD them the 5 Essence of Fire, but title the mail "Primal Fire (5)" for 110g or whatever price you think is fit.
E. Try this with other primals such as air also! I've already made a great lump of gold from it!



Method #2

A. Find an item like Arcane Dust that sells well, but doesn't stack high as an item.
B. I advertised I was selling 40 Arcane Dust for a good price, and I easily found a buyer. I told them I would COD it.

C. For the first letter, only send 1 Arcane Dust and name it "Arcane Dust (20)", and COD it for the same price as your 20 stack. Send the 20 stack of dust AFTER you send the fake, because that will show up in the persons mailbox on top of it.

D. Enjoy gold! Not an uber 1337 scam, but it makes a decent amount of gold for such little work.

Its good to do these on different accounts with so called Bank characters.
Just make the name hard to spell or use accents so they find it harder to report you or just delete the character after you got your money and had it sent to main.

us DOES give you 72 hour bans for scams easily.

i send a runeclothx1 COD for 50g and got 72 hour ban in next few minutes after the person received it in the mail

Let me repeat , COD Scam is the WORST SCAM of all. You can get banned VERY EASILY and let say you COD'ed an item and you went to sleep and shit , the next day all you know is you will get banned and the gold returned back unless you GET the gold straight away after you recieved them but you will still get banned , the gold will be rolledback , so this scam is useless piece of crap.
