Hey guys this is a variation on a post I read while searching weather or not to post.

The aim of this scam is to get people from a guild to send u gear and gold thinking u are there guild bank.

First of all finding a guild to scam.
:a small guild with 70's in it.
:a guild u know has "just" moved on to 25 man raids ( a good way to tell if this has happened is by looking in trade chat for recruiting messages they usually tell u a guilds progression)
: check guilds ranking a 51-40 rank for your server would be good depending on size of server.
: do it to all of them.

Second finding out if the guild already has a guild bank and its name or finding guild masters name.
/who guild name) Probing guildees in the guild with a low lvl alt of yours claiming your an alt of a guildee and wish to send some gear to the guild bank or gm ask if they can pst u the name of the guild bank as u forgot how to spell it.

If guild bank exists:
from here u can either make an alt with the same name but with the first or last letter gone in hopes they screw up the name when typing it in and send to u by mistake e.g. if gbank's name was hollybank use llybank or :hollyban
The chances of this working all the time aren’t many but is has for me in the past with an old guild I was actually in.

Or u could go with the more profitable method and SCAM!

There are a few ways to do something knowing the guild bank's name Ohh and btw wait a few days after probing for the gbanks name so it doesn’t raise suspicions.

Now set up the fake bank:
: make the banks name end with a b or dkp e.g. hollybankb hollybankdkp
1. Logon to it

My fav method to get good gear from this is the dkp points offer method
1. Wait till gm is offline.
2. Find people in that guild that are in a major city and pst them this:

heya its (gms name) i'm on our dkp bank just quickly reminding you that now we have moved on to 25 man raids and are using dkp to organize gear drops i’m letting u know that there is further dkp points awarded to those who donate to guild bank e.g. gold any gear u think we will need u can take advantage of this now to secure your loot in our next raids comeing up soon (dkp awarded according to value of the donation and updated every 1-2 days on site) thank u good bye.

Further tip find the gm's name pst him/her on some one have a general conversation and find out how they talk what grammar they use so u can tweak your scam message to sound like them a little more

you will be surprised what u get when someone is trying to buy dkp let the gear roll in if u start getting offensive psts on that bank time to send to main delete and move on :P

That’s my variation method there are others posted here but I thougt id write a nice little guide abut how I have tweaked it to help u guys out.

u can also make an alt of the gms name put bank on the end and tell them to put the new bank into friends as u are not placing that toon in the gulid because u don’t wish to have any/any more lowbies filling the guild up.
