Well, I was reading mdg19s thread about his "crazy pattern exploit!!"
(Found here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ))
And i was thinking about a way it could be useful. Now, I haven't tried this because I haven't had a chance (at work) But, I think I have found a way to scab a few noobs out of their gold.
You will need to be an enchanter and have the enchant "Enchant Chest - Minor Stats ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
Simply link your fake item link into /2 or /1 with something like Enchanting Chests with Stats
When you receive a whisper just tell them whatever amount of gold you like. Get them to put their chest into trade and give them the enchant, in exchange for your sum of gold.

You mean like, they put their chest item in do not trade, you enchant it, they pay you? Because if so, This happens a lot, this is very common knowledge.
Flamers beware, I use your flames to roast marshmallows!
No....You charge them for your imba enchant that the item you linked has, EG in that thread someone talked about a Chestpiece that had crusader on it linked in /2.
You charge them a large sum of money to get their item enchanted while really only giving them the crappy enchant.
