my first post, and well i actually got scammed by a mage, dont even know how i didnt see it coming.
anyway, basicaly, many players are lazy and cant be bothered to walk, or fly or wat ever. so they ask mages to teleport them, now first the mage can say, "well if you buy me those runes that i need, il teleport you for free" thats were you get more runes, by saying that to teleport ther you need 4 runes, so you get more runes, for free!
the other scam is when you just say pay the money up first, even if its half, you still mostly get it, than dont log out, but just ignore them, and carry on playing, the chance that you will get banned are very low, usualy a GM starts saying why did you do this, etc .
yet the first scam is more safe

and "pay upfront", man cmon its one or two gold mostly and all u gotta do is click a button on your screen.

Most people I make portals for are lvl 70 and know it only takes 1 rune to make portal, + they are cheap anyway I dont think they would care.
Not making portals would only get you a bad rep on your server.

I'm a mage and I NEVER scam people , they usually pay me up to 5g upfront and I just click the damn button that costs me 20s...
