Hello mmowned. This is one of my bigger scams. I originally got this idea from another member from mmowned ximiru from the thread the best scam for now!
Anyways u make the hotmail account( Dont give out any real info ) instead of just mailing it to the traders/ sellers. Get blizzard to send u an email by like reseting ur password and forward the message and just change text and put:
Greetings!
It has come to our attention that you are trying to sell/trade your personal World of Warcraft account.
As you may or may not be aware of, this conflicts with the EULA and Terms of Agreement.
If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled. It will be ongoing for further investigation by Blizzard employees.
Blizzard might consider taking legal actions against your crime, if it seems too be of an extreme nature.
If you wish to not get your account suspended you should immediately verify your account.
This action is taken because we at Blizzard Entertainment take these sales
quite serious. We need to confirm you are the original owner of the account.
This is easiest done by confirming your personal information along with concealed information about your account.
You can confirm that you are the original owner of the account by replying to this email with:

* Phone number Daytime
* Country
* Account e-mail

I still use this scam mainly because I enjoy the victim coming to me rather than me going to the victim. It doesn't work like it used to but after sending about 20 or so emails I may get 1-2 back.
Before then I used to get a good 7-9 out of 20 or so emails.

Wow, I sent out 116 emails, and got zero accounts (then again I only got 9 replies back so maybe some haven't check their email yet). Yeah this scam has been overused too much and doesn't work too well now.
