Im not sure if I shall call this a scam or not but whatever. first make an alt (level 1) and send him over to booty bay, also give him a couple of golds. Now just log him in once in a while, and check if there is any other low levels near the neutral AH, because often people want to transfer items with the other faction, so for example: Once I wan just messing around with my alt and then I saw a low level alliance, and a high level horde running to the AH, so I decided to check it out.
Well, the level 1 putted 10x Arcane Crystals for 1 copper (this was then they sold for 40g.) So I was lucky and bought it before the horde
I think this can be useful sometimes, as there is a rare pattern in STV where you can have the low lvl camping and buying when it is in the shop, and at the same time check if there is any people at the AH.

You cannot buy at AH from a toon on the same account. No matter faction or level, and no matter what AH you are visiting.
I run 47 AddOns. My UI has an MP3 player. Unbuffed I am 10k hp/10k mana, 12k armor. I can wear shadow gear and destroy any 3 level 70 shadowpriests. At once. I AM a badass. And anything with C cups or better and pretty eyes will OWN me.
Know your limits. That is life as a Pally in Warcraft.
