Introduction: Ok, This guide has already been posted before by people. However I feel it is time that it is reposted because some of the newer mmowned users might not know about it. I will try and add some new ideas and tips for it.
Step One: Get an account with a main with at least 20 gold. Then make an alt with a name like: ÜæĂæ. Walk both of the characters to a main city with an AH. To make a character with weird letters hold down alt and punch in like 145 with the number pad on the RIGHT side of your keyboard.
Step Two: On your main, Find a blue for around 10-30 gold in the AH. Buy it! Now, Go get it from your mailbox and put it back into the AH for around 10 gold more. Now your ALT comes into this.
Step Three: Go onto your ALT. In the Trade channel say buying (whatever item your main bought and put back into the AH). Advertise that you are buying for like 5g more then it is in the AH. Eventually, somebody will see it in the AH for 5 gold cheaper and buy it and say they want to sell it to you. Once you KNOW they have bought it log off your alt and your main now had an extra 10 gold.
Tips: To make this scam more effective, Tell the people that you are buying the item because you are a banking account and your mains twink needs it. Another tip is to stand just outside the main city on your ALT so when they say it is in the AH for 5g cheaper, you can say you aren’t near the AH and ask them to buy it and COD it to you. Tip three: Don’t sound to eager to get it!

Is this scam bannable: The way I see it would be yes. I don’t think the people that have this happen to them would care much if they had a lot of money to do this. Also you could just tell a GM if you ever did get somehow banned that you just changed your mind.

I seen this posted lots a while ago. This is a good and effective scam. I don't think its banable since they buy the item. What are they going to tell the GM? "I bought it because I want to make him pay 5 more gold then the normal price?"

Ive tried this many time's some effective, some not so..
I found the best way of doing this is actually buying the good's with your alt posting them in one of the major town's AH for abit more £$£, then providing you have a 60+ or whatever means, have him/her in shattrah (no auction house) asking to buy the wep ect then its pretty straight foreward becuase you obviously cant search for it, then simply say changed mind ect
