Guild Scam - 06-27-2007

1) Go on World of Warcraft.
2) Go to Search.
3) Search Stormwind for Alliance or Orgrimmar for Horde.
4) Find a level 70. It doesn't really matter what level just find a high level.
5) Check the guild they are in. Write it down on a piece of paper.
6) Alt+Tab out of World of Warcraft and go to The Armory.
7) Search for that guild and look at some of the members in it. If the guild only has a couple of people scratch the guild and find a new one.
8) Once you find a member(doesn't matter who) write down his name and go back on World of Warcraft.
9) Type in /who(players name)
10) If he is not online, great. If he is online just find another member.
11) Once you find a name that no one is logged on it log out and make a new character related to the name you found.(preferably Human or Orc since they are the closest to a mail box I believe)
12) When you make your character Alt+Tab out go back to armory. Write down as many names as possible and go back into World of Warcraft.
13) Start messaging them all and saying "Hey buddy, this is (players name that you chose), whats up?" Start a good conversation. Then ask them if they can let you borrow some gold because you are playing on your friends character and your main is far away from a mailbox or something. Anything will work.
14) When you get the gold, congratulations! You just made yourself some nice and easy gold.

Don't yell at me if it was posted before. Ive tried using search but I didn't find anything related. So please don't say "wTfD? uses da dam searchas NUB!"

No problem, Plus I don't think you can get banned over this that quick. Since they don't want to be asses and mention the money when the actual person logs on

Re: Guild Scam - 07-10-2007

This works great, but to make sure you don't get banned/suspended.you should do the same thing except make a new char and tell them you made another char, make a name similar than the name you wrote down. Then when he gives you the gold,go somewhere away from him,MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T SEE YOU AT THE MAILBOX.Mail the gold to your character, and logout and delete the alt.Take your money and go show it off to the brattiest (not riches now) person in the guild.

To add to this, and to decrease your ban chances to nearly ZERO, add the offline target to your friends list, and log off as soon as they come on. :-) no-one'll never know.
