Ive used this mooonths ago, and it worked for a while... Heres how I set up my victims:
Step1: Find a fairly high level (60-70) player, who looks like they got some good amount of gold.
Step2: Send the a whisper like this "Hey, dont mean to bother you, but how much gold do you have on that toon?" Most people will respond with an amount. Lets say our victim says something like 400g.
Step3: Depending on what amount they say, respond back like this: "Really? Listen, a read about a trick to dupe your own gold. The only problem is you need at least 200g to do the trick. Mind trying it for me?"
Step4: If they remotely seem intereste, even if they dont, send them another response telling them to enter in that script into the chat. Wait a minute or two, and send another response asking if it worked.
Step5: If it worked, and they are really falling into the trick, then tell them to keep it a secret and to only use it once a week MAX, or blizzard may find out.
Step6: Now finally, send them a final whisper saying "Dude this is awesome! Hey mind sending me 200g so I can start doing this too?" And if they havnt noticed anything suspicous, they wont mind giving you 200g.
Now the main thing is to NOT ask them for more than the amount they said they had originally. So if they say they only had 250g, dont ask for 300g at the end, or else they will wonder why the trades failing lol.
Another good tip is to meet them somewhere away from vendors and banks etc. When they enter the script ALL money and prices are effected, so one look at a vendor and they wil flip lol.
