ok... first of all this can only be done by rogues or blacksmithers (or engi i think)

first of all just get a group to an instance. (i would perf outland instances coz they got much beter things inside the chests)
then, if you find a chest thats locked and your the only rogue in the group, say something like "chest! lets get it!" and klick on the minimap where the chest is. (only if its mobs around so the party can clear them for you)

then lie to them and say something like "damn, cant open sorry guys" act like your realy sorry so they wont start flaming at you (got kicked once coz i could'nt open a chest

)
then just finish the instance (remember where the chest is (or chest's if you find more).

then say "brb" when your done and wait for everyone to leave the party or go out of the instance, then simply run back to the chest/chest's and open them and get the stuff on your own
most of the times you can get some realy nice things

Lol, awesome idea I usually just ninja and say "Oops shift+click sry guys you lose" But since greens and blues found in chests are group rolled for now, this would work nicely.

My rogue is almost to the outlands, so I will have to give this a try

And ya, this really would only be worth it in Outland instances. Nice idea.

i do the exact same tihng :P only together with a friend of mine we start a run and just act like i cant open and after the run simply return to the chast and share the profits

Thats why i always leave the instances last, so no one can scam stuff form me >

(Im a mage lol). So if you group with me, you ant stealin my shit! lol

Yeah I try to stay til the end if I can remember. This is a good idea for rogues though, definately =)
