Ok here is a little method that I have been using for a while now just to test it and see how stupid they are.
I was a bit surprised that it works, but on top of properly laundering your gold this can help a lot by reducing your ban chances.. dont wanna lose that precious scammed gold!!!
STEP 1- Scam an account
STEP 2- rip the account (vendor all items etc etc)
STEP 3- transfer the gold to your own bank alt using your favorite laundering method (I use the auction house method)
OK HERE IS WHERE IT HELPS
Log into the scammed account that you just ripped... get on one of their alts (or create one) and send them the following mail via the in-game mail system
Code: Hello
I am the guy that scammed all your stuff.
I think I was nice enough to not delete your character and get your account banned so here is the deal...
IF YOU REPORT ME IN ANY WAY OR TRY TO **** WITH ME..
I WILL GET YOUR ACCOUNT BACK
I WILL DELETE ALL YOUR TOONS
I WILL GET YOUR ACCOUNT PERMA-BANNED
it is in your best interest to close this issue right NOW.. I am very experienced in the art of scamming and I will make your life a living hell if you mess with me further.
THANKS FOR THE GOLD!

I will not contact you or access your account in the future if you abide by the simple requests listed above.

80% of the people you do this too will be like "well... this really sucks but I dont wanna further risk my account" and they will not report it.
My ban ratio has been greatly reduced using this method.
ANOTHER TIP- once you have launderd the gold to yourself.. send the gold to yet another toon, delete the toon that you transfered it to.. then go back on the original scammed account and create a chracter with that same name
this will make it harder for a GM to trace the activity and many of them will just assume that the person tried to pull one over on the GM department.. because the scamming alt is on that own persons account lol
