[BoonDoggle]'s Improved Scam-A-Scammer via YouTube Scam

I decided to publish this now because the scam is ruined anyway by little kids that change the PW's of e-mails, etc. R.I.P Lovely scam + MJ

Recently a nice guide about how to "Scam-A-Scammer via YouTube came out and I just wanted to perfection this scam. So far I got over 10 accounts with full info with this scam in half a day, you can too! LINKS TO ORIGINAL SCAM CAN BE FOUND AT THE BOTTOM OF POST!

This scam takes advantage over YouTube Scammers that try to trick people in downloading their "GM Hack" (or w/e) to get access to their accounts or Gamercards. It's a very simple and good, profitable scam that takes a while to completely skill.

How to take it in Action

-Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Or any other video-sharing site.

-Search for a obvious video of a Scammer; advertsing a GM Hack or Gamecard Dupe, etc (depends on what you want)

-If they list a link to a download of the so called "Hack" open it. If it doesn't look for another one.

-Download it (risk of viruses is rare). If you really feel unsafe scan it if you want but 90% don't contain any.

-Extract the .zip file in a folder or leave the .exe file as it is (don't open it).

-Now Download the Reflector Program [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

-Install the program..

-Locate the "Hack" and open it in Reflector

-Locate this file...



-Now right-click it and press "Dissasemble"

-A box on the right should pop up, locate this (or something close)..

-You can now successfully login to the E-mail of the scammer and leech accounts, game-cards before him.

DO NOT CHANGE THE PW OF THE E-MAIL, IF YOU DO THE PROGRAM CANT CONTINUE TO SEND DATA TO THE E-MAIL AND YOU WONT SUCCEED AT ALL, THE SCAMMER WILL NOTICE YOU TOO!

DO NOT USE THIS ON ANY MMOWNED MEMBER!


From here on you can choose what way you want to go to keep the account...

TIPPS


-Send a fake-mail to the e-mail of the account owner, requesting full Account Info, that he has to give into a phisher because of "Account Sharing" or "Hacking"

-Do always check accounts if they work.. Then go to account management page and check if they linked a cc, remove it if they do.

-While checking chars in-game, be fast. Check these first:

Mounts
Gold
Equipment
Skills (Proffessions)
Talents (if dual spec)
Guild Bank
AH for open auctions

-Never re-login after getting DC'd wait up to 30mins till you log in the next time.

-Quit his guild, remove all friends of the char. Do not start conversations!

Damn, too bad everyone is posting this. Now that means that I can't steal any more accounts cause every damn one is stolen and the person who did it stupid because he changed the password of the email account.

This is a re-post.. It is a "improved" version of the scam which has some infos that he was missing out in the original post, which got just answered in the 10th reply maybe of the thread.

I thought giving the "improved" in the title would make it obvious for anybody that would spend a bit of time reading, sadly it doesn't seem so. Do I have to really write it again in my thread?

You can't improve it when the old one is still replied in frequently, imo you're just rep surfing along with him.

How is this an improved version? It's the same damn thing just re-worded ... and your picture says "Some programs dont contain CLI headers", the real reason why it didnt work is because it wasn't a .NET application, reflectors only work with programs that are written in a .NET language.

and you guys dont have to take your videos down just use your brain. You can do one of two things to secure your program.

1. Obfuscate your code
2. Store logs somewhere else

Personally I use number 2, i have a php script on my webserver that stores logs into a text file. With some simple CHMOD you can prevent unauthorized access to that text file.
