Now, I scammed 41k and some scrolls of berserking.
I traded the 41k gold for a 63-80 / Max prof PL, since I already have enough IRL gold.
I just think this was weird since I used the AH to send the gold.
Is laundering gold dead? Or is Blizz getting smarter?

Reputation: 174 Level up: 44%, 394 Points needed | | | if your scammed gold is in mail, they can't remove it... the same happened to me. I scammed about 3k of gold, sent it to my main, I've received similiar e-mail + 72 hours ban for scamming, but stolen gold remained in un-opened mail

Reputation: 133 Level up: 91%, 65 Points needed | | | | I just recieved such a letter from blizz regarding my "scamming" account, with the result being total account closure. Be careful.
Good thing it wasn't my main :P |

Reputation: 12 Level up: 84%, 64 Points needed | | | | Well you need to be careful...
I recently got one saying I was getting a ban for trying to selling my account.
Funny thing was, my accounts been inactive for months, and I don't sell my accounts.
Pretty much, don't click the link on the e-mail, or you'll most likely get keylogged ;-)
Delete the e-mail, and check your computer for any trojans or virus'.
I also forgot to mention..
There are many ways for people to find out your acct info such as guild sites, forums, etc. So even though your account name is there, theres still a possibility of it being fake.

I had 4.4k on my main from TCG scam for about 72 hours and they still recalled the gold, so you just got lucky. Unfortunately for me, I didn't.
