[Guide] EASIEST Gold you've ever scammed! With pictures and help!

Before I start, it has come to my attention that there are quite a few morons, so I invented an...

IDIOT FILTER!

My scam, like others, ALL rely on either idiots or luck. OF COURSE you need to find people who will believe anything. That is how scamming works. If we could scam anyone the possibilities would be endless. So please refrain from making pointless comments like: "only idiots would fall for this", "lol, fail scam no one will believe this". These comments make you look stupid and they are the reason that you are probably a leecher, as people who have come up with their own scams know, and rely on these idiots - and they contribute this knowledge that is often laughed at to other people who understand it.

Anyways...

So lately I have been trying out different scams on people, and by far my 2 favourite scams would have to be the DnD Scam and the TCG Item Selling scam. The thing is though, a lot of people are starting to catch on with the TCG scam. You post in trade and you get flamed with "SCAM". But, of course, you still get people asking how much, I will buy, and zomg yes.

After searching and reading SOME threads I feel that I can now tell you all my recently discovered scam. Selling Account.

PLEASE NOTE: You are not selling REAL accounts. You are selling nothing. You are selling a promise. There are no accounts to sell. YOU ARE PRETENDING TO SELL AN ACCOUNT.

THE SCAM

When "selling accounts" there are 2 different routes you can take. PLEASE make sure you don't stick to one route. Change it depending on the victim. They tend to ask questions that pick the route for me. I will mention this later.

a. Representative from a Business
b. Selling account because you got into Med School and your GF REALLY needs the gold for her toon

People tend to respond better to the business method, but both work.

It is essentially the same thing as the TCG scam, but since you aren't linking any items you can actually fill most of your bars with macros selling different classes for different amounts of gold. I use the following the most:

/2 SELLING CHEAP MAGE
/2 UD LVL 80 HAS ONLY PVP GEAR
/2 SAVAGE = 500G

/2 SELLING CHEAP ROGUE
/2 UD LVL 80 HAS ONLY PVP GEAR
/2 SAVAGE = 600G

I specifically mention Savage as a low price, because it gives you a chance to offer better gear for more money. People also like hunters and druids. Try each class and see which gets you more hits than the others.

When they hand you the gold you can either link them a username and password into whisper or party chat or you can trade them a "Simple Letter"* with some details on it.

Make sure that the password has a mixture of: Ll, Ii, Oo, 0. These can be confusing in WoW font to distinguish.

TIPS

If you are taking the business route:

• If they say "Is this a scam" "How do I know your not scamming me" I tend to say "As a business, it is not in our best interests to rip off clients."
• If they want it for cheaper, ask them to wait while you get authority
• Tell them you will wait while they check the account, when they say it doesn't work, say one minute while I check - continue to scam.
• Always act professional: NO SPELLING MISTAKES.
• At every possible opportunity, remind them you work for a business.
• They rarely check the website, but if they ask I always say "vcmmo.com"
• IF they check the site and say "It's not there" say "Technically, I work as a freelancer. I sell the characters in game to potential clients. It's because we are in game that I can do these better prices."
• 80% of people ask why you would sell accounts for gold. Something along the lines of "Having done extensive research, we have found that it is better, from a fiscal perspective, to buy accounts and sell the gold to other clients." should work.
• Using words like: we and us reinforce the fact that you are not a private seller - this is a good thing
  

If you are taking the med school route:

• They are going to ask why you are selling for in game gold, say "My GF needs it and I am quitting." This is one of the picking the route itself questions.
• It is ok to make spelling mistakes if you choose this route.
• DO NOT ACT PROFESSIONAL OR HIGH AND MIGHTY
• Be polite, joke around with them.
• IF they ask about being scammed say "That's why I am selling this toon so cheap. I got scammed and now it isn't worth playing. That and med school."

General:

• Always say that it is a security risk to link armouries/names/server
• I use the DnD scam to get myself an account and then use that to scam. Alternatively you can make an alt on your account(to scam), delete it, open up a trial account and make the same named toon on that account.
• Laundering your gold from the mule is the way to keep your gold and your accounts.
  
• *Simple Letter has to be "From 'Scamming Mule'", so send one from the mule to your main. Trade it back and use that as the Simple Letter.
• They are going to ask you why it is so cheap. Simply say "It sells."
• If they ask why you are on a level 1 account say "It's easier than leveling up another account, just to reassure prospective buyers. You are either going to buy or not." But not quite as blunt as that. :P
• If they want the account before they give you the gold, off them a swap. ie: you give them the username and password for 60-80% and then after that you get the rest of the gold for the rest of the information. These kinds of people are harder to scam, so be happy that you can get the smaller percentage out of them. It's better than nothing, because you didn't want to give up the 1k gold trade off.
• Most important tip of all: DON'T BE GREEDY!

Info: Very good laundering guide. Some things I would like to point out though. You dont need to go to a net cafe if you have a [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] - ie: scam>reset router>launder>reset router>launder>reset router. This has helped me out many times.

They do fall for it, quite easily. This is how I offload an account when I've used it to scam so much that it's not viable anymore.

If you have a scammed 80, you might as well just rape them. I sold one for 10k because it has a full valourous rogue. I showed the guy in game, and even went so far as to give him the user/pass to let him see it was legit. THEN POW, I got the 10k, and then proceeded to "sell" the account to someone else. Lol.

Bitch is finding a viable account...


EDIT: Oh, and my LAUNDERING method is hella more simple and flawless. But lately, I haven't needed to launder anything. I have sent 20k to mules in the last two weeks and some of the mules still have the gold on them because the buyers have no demand.

Nah, I just use my normal connection and reset my router. Dynamic IPs FTW!

I do, however, play with a proxy for normal gaming. Aussie latency FTL.

Well, they will have radius logs to show last connected/disconnected and IPs and stuff. It won't be the first thing they check, but it will be looked at in cases of a dispute. Better safe than sorry
