Well, say your buying a world of warcraft account or atleast you appear to be but are really scamming them :P What you do is when it comes to the money say: Hey, btw is this the email registered for the account?
if they say yes then score. Now say before payment i would like to login myself then ask for sqa (or say before pay i would like account name and secret question answer,
if they say no to sqa and name block em and more on, if yes then read, if they say no to registered email then along with askin for sqa and acc name ask for the registered email.
now for the part that will make or break sucess.

And change his email, best to do on a friday night ya know recall and all,
This has all been a basic scam you say: correct up until now it has, now heres my part:
After making it inacessable say paying. Then request a payment of the ammount of the account from email, With any luck they used their legit last name opening room for xfering the toon off. Then ban the account obviously, Oh and if they are realllllllllly stupid they might accept your payment request too :P
