Basically, the whole idea of the scam is that you wisper in trade chat in a city about this amazing money making scheme that you just worked out, and how it only works with that server etc making you about 500g per hour. Say you will trade the scheme for say 20g.
Now you will probally get 5ish to 10ish wispers as 20g is not that much, and go along with the conversation saying it is the best gold scam, you will not find it anywhere else etc etc. If they ask "If your making all this money, how come your seliing it" in which you reply "do you want it or not" or something that will sound convincing.
Anyway once they have traded you the gold, go and mail them a letter and say exactly these words:
DO WHAT I DID!

Some guy sent LOADS of people an email saying what you said. Seeing as it was cheap, loads of people did it.
It is clever, and i don't think you can be banned for this seeing as you are telling them how to make money... i might ask a GM on a trial account though :P |

Then the guy cannot complain that you scammed him and you can do this with your lvl 80 main. |
