LOL, i just got a mail from "Collection House Limited" Telling me that i need to pay paypal 280$... LOL.
I think this is from the time i got scammed some time at the beginning of last year.. Before I learnt about paypal scams...
Wonder what will happen if i don't reply or anything? lol, says i need to pay within 7 days..
My brother got a few of these too aparently and he never paid em.. and its been a year since, and nothing happened.. So I doubt anything will happen to me.. LOL
Will i be allright?

Reputation: 139 | | | Don't worry about it, you can even insist that they stop calling you. All they do is threaten to **** up your credit score, it's not really a big deal. For that amount of money, it's not going to matter if you simply ignore them. I've run into some trouble with paypal more than once, those scumbag debt collection agencies got nothing on you. Simply refuse to pay and you're good.
Also, if you're a minor (under 18), you can just tell them so and they are required by law to cease and desist. |

Players like you risk to click on some of those labels saying "Your visitor 100.000.000, click here to get your price"

Wow. You are an idiot, did you even read the post? It's not a phishing email dipshit. He got a negative balance and paypal sold the debt to a collection agency.

Reputation: 59 Level up: 17%, 671 Points needed | | | | this exact thing happened to em when i was 17. i told paypal iw as under 18 and to **** off as they should have checked i was 18+ and they just closed my paypal account.
now when i had to re-register to sell my wow account (to toonstorm.com and they DID pay) i had to register with my other bank account as my original one was flagged, as was my original e-mail. but its not hard to just open up another bank account+e-mail addy to get a new paypal lol |

Reputation: 2 | | I use to work 1st and 3rd party collections and I can tell the you that a cease and desist letter is only valid if mailed through the mail system not through email. My reference is FDCPA or Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. I know it very well... This only applies to the USA of course
