WoW ScamsWorld of Warcraft Whitehat Scamming Methods ONLY.
[NO QUESTIONS HERE] We do not condone scamming, this section is meant for people to read about scamming so they can prevent being scammed themselves.
First off, i would like to say that there was a similar post to this, but NOT the same. Post was by Creed... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Okay so lets get started with this,
Requirements
Email (I think hotmail works best)
Skills with english(typing, etc.)
Other WoW players' emails
So first you want to make an email, I used [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], but you can use whatever you want (@live is usually the most believeable).
Then you want to put together a couple emails of WoW players. Try to make sure that it is the email that they used to make the account, it will make it way more convincing.
So then you want to visit [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and click at the top of the page where it says "Send Fake Mail: FREE" and start sending emails to all the addresses you have collected. Make it from "noreply@blizzard.com", "customersupport@blizzard.com", or anything you want. As long as it's from blizzard.com. Now make the email look something like this...

You have been one of the few World Of Warcraft players selected to particpate in a sort of contest that we have started up. If you choose to enter, you may be chosen to win items such as the Spectral Tiger Mount. You can also when other items like tabards, pets, and other cool items for your World Of Warcraft character.
If you choose to enter the contest, you must send an email to [Your @live email you made here]. This is the official email for this unique World Of Warcraft contest. The email must look like the following...

Feel free to make a couple tweaks here and there if you think it would improve it, just make sure you post the idea, and how well it worked. By the way, this scam could also be turned into a youtube scam. Make a video promoting the contest, put the email there, blah blah blah. You know the drill. Haha

False, I did it and i got 3 accounts yesterday. And as for a employee never asking for a password, you can explain in the email that the information is needed to verify you are the original owner to of the account. I HAVE gotten this scam to work, soo...yeah

It is phishing, that's the idea of the scam. It's just a new scam that includes phishing.
Okay all i'm saying is that this worked great for me, if you really don't want to try it, than don't. You don't need to post saying it's old, or it doesn't work. It's not necessary. It's my attempt at helping out people who are just starting scamming because it is a real simple way to get started. I know it's not too effective and i know it's a low level scam. THAT'S THE POINT
