When Typeing This Title In, I Found No Matches Before Any Of This, List 5 Items for 1000g, and 5 items for 500g on your main, in the AH!!!!!!!! Make an alt, preferably with the name Bank in it, then mail that alt 50g Things To Know This scam will not always work, do it only at the right time.
Always buy everything you can from the profession vendor that you are selling. Advertising In Trade
Okay, lets get started with the scam, go to the proffesion vendor of your choice,(on the bank alt) perferably minning or enchanting. BUY EVERYTHING, anything that the vendor sells, get it.
Now you have all the items from the vendor, Type in trade /2 Selling 1-450 (profession) Leveling, 5000g. You will get many whispers consiting of the following:
Noobboy whispers: Scammer!!!
Dragonkiller whispers: wow thats a lot!
Acekillerxpwn whispers: I'll do it
Iamanoob whispers: huoww duz myself kno ju not scamman brah
You will get more, and they may vary, but only reply to the ones that are interested. Make sure you only do one at a time, and then invite the person you want to scam. Scamming The Victim Now the person is in your party, and you tell him to meet where ever you are. It doesn't really matter
Tell him he pays it all upfront, and if he says no, tell him half (2500g is better than none)
At this point, he will want proof that you actually have these powerleveling mats, show him all the things you bought from the vendor.
He will say nice, awesome, okay!... ect then will give you the gold.
Give him the mats from the vendor and tell him you're going to log into your main to get the other mats
Finishing Up Run to the auction house while you are "getting the other mats".
Buy the items in the AH from your main, then log out, delete the character.
You either just made 2500g or 5000g, Enjoy. ( I haven't done this scam yet, I thought of it when some dude was advertising cooking levels for 2000g ) Enjoy your epic flyer.

This is the same as the enchanting scam, where you claim you can do something get the mats and bail with it. These scam requires really really dumb people.
EVERYONE know that you have to have your character craft something to level up your proffessions. The only person you will get will be the low levels with no gold whatsoever.

| Yo, I know you're a high rank here at mmowned, so I'm not going to try and say this like a dick, but um.. please don't say anything untill you have tried it.
And yes, I know that everyone knows you need levels. YOU have the mats, Materials, such as bars, ores, so they CAN actually level it. I hope you understand it now.

Blacksmiths need ores, which you mine, can't get from a vendor, same goes for every other proffession. I don't scam, so I wouldn't test it out, but I'm faily sure it's known by everyone that you can't level your profession with just what the vendor sells, some don't need anything from the vendor actually. |

Those are just there for proof that you have somthing, and you're not just asking for gold without even showing one thing that revolves around what ever profession you are leveling.
Take Enchanting for example, you can go to the vendor and I think Enchanting levels 1-75 use those lesser essences or the dusts from the vendor. The reason being to buy all those things is they wan't some kind of proof you actually have mats for leveling.
Unless they have a ton of time on their hands, I know I woulden't anyway, wan't to be shown every single of like... 5000 items for getting 1-450 enchanting. Just show them 10 or so items and they'll think, wow he actually does have somthing and he isn't just scamming me.
I again do know that you can't buy all the mats from the vendor but if the person you're scamming doesn't even ask for some proof then the whole statement about buying things was pointless, I just put that in there incase they did.
I hope you can see what i'm trying to get at now

but if you do this on a scammed 80, and then launder the gold correctly this could acctually be extremely profitable.

Sorry to have to go against you on this one parog.. but the point of the scam is that you arent acctually leveling anything-- ur just taking the gold.
So all you would have to do is link some minerals/ores etc from the AH and many people would believe you acctually had them-- hell you could even buy a bunch of cheap ones and still make a lot of gold
I think this scam needs a bit of work- but isnt a repost and definately has potential... he deserved the rep I gave him on this one, much better than a lot of the crap that gets posted here

Besides the vendor stuff you should buy the ore/herbs/jewels/whatever to make it more convincing (don't even necessarily have to BUY (even though it's cheap), you could just loot link the extras) but still have him pay a good amount up front.
Another addition would be to look up a power leveling guide from the internet, most list the number of mats needed for the entire thing, so you can list them off and sound more legitimate to your victim.
And yeah I'd suggest using a scammed account for this. Deleting level ones doesn't quite do the trick.
+rep though it's a really good idea. I would think it would be hard to make some people may fall for it, though. |

I also don't want to just type in names of items that would be good for the profession you are leveling, that would revolve to suspeciousness because of the fact that it takes longer to type, than link, you feel me?
