What is this scam about?
This scam tricks gold farming companys for real life cash, you fake a screenshot of a trade and send it to them. I found this works very well and I hope its not a repost. Read below for more details.
First of you will need to find a company that buys gold from players and pays for it, for this example I will use thsale.com (net4seller.com).
Go to the live chat and say you have gold, they will ask you to add them on MSN. Add them onto MSN (use fake account ofc).
Tell them you have gold and want to sell it, make up a list of gold stock, use around 10 servers.
They will tell you they need gold on a server, login to that server using your wow login (you can use main you wont get banned). They will give you the player name for trade find him ingame open a trade window and PRINT SCREEN.
Now add that image into photoshop and edit gold into the trade window and make both sides green, you need to make it look decent.
Now the annoying/hard part, trying to make the player accept the trade, most the time when I press accept even tho no gold is there, the player will normally accept it. If the player does not accept it tell him something such as "accept plz".
When you managed to get the player to accept the trade take a screenshot of that.
Now send both screenshots to the company over MSN, this could work out two ways...
1) The company asks you for paypal address and you get your money.
2) The company tells you the client did not get the gold.
If you got number 1 congrats, if you got 2 however you will have to argue with the company.
Normally what I do is create two chars on a different region of servers, example would be if you done this on English servers make two chars with the same name as the client buying gold and your char name used for trade on GERMAN/RUSSIAN servers.
Then fake a chat and screenshot it, send it to the gold company and your chances of them thinking your legit is higher.
Tips:
I recommend you create a template using photoshop before hand so you can drag each number onto your screenshot, this is really helpful as with practise you can create a fake screenshot in a few seconds.
Use a fake paypal account (extra secuity), most the time the company will not charge back the costs because they have not confirmed there address on paypal.
Find websites that let you trade with there customors, not themselfs!
Before sending any screenshot look at it first, look at the time and date these must be the same as its ment to be taken one after another. You can edit these with photoshop aswell.
If you take a screenshot of the chat log do not include the full screenshot, crop the chat box only and send it (saves time)

!!!! - This template is not perfect, your screen resolution can change it, I recommend creating your own. Some numbers are not perfect and have white in them... I dont recommend using this tbh, but might aswell put it out there.

Yeah person who bought the gold will never get it.
Quick note, NET4SALE.com do not trade with players anymore :P instead they logon themselfs and act as a middle man.

Sorry, says I cant post images on forums or post links. I have screenshots of the ingame trades, no screenshots to prove the scam works tho. Didnt think to take any at the time.
