And the thread start search didn't find anything too. Let's start shall we? It's pretty easy.
So what you are going to do is rick roll a person and he will give you gold. How do you do that?
STEP ONE
So the best success is if you are in a guild and you've been there for atleast 1 month to get in. That way they will think of it as a joke and actually give you the gold.
What you are going to do is log in, say in guild chat "Hi guys", talk about them for a little if you must, and then do something else for 10 minutes so you blend in more. Didn't understand? Let me enlighten you.
It increases your chance of success. If you just log in and say "Hi guys, wanna do a contest, if I rickroll u u give me gold?? No? QQ" it won't work.
After 10 mins have passed you can now go and say the following in guild chat:
"Hey who wants to have a funny contest? A Rick Roll contest."
They will say "Ok lol".
"Ok so it's gonna be kinda like this: I must Rick Roll the one that I'm having the contest with in 30 mins for <number> gold. It's gonna be fun me owning you xD" The highlighted part is making them "Succumb to the Dark Side", thinking you are a joke and they can avoid getting rick-rolled.
So when you get your victim, move to step 2.
STEP TWO
Say you start from now and that you are going to Rick Roll the victim in 30 mins as you said before. Go grind somewhere, talk around in guild chat just for the fuzz, and after 10 mins again, make a macro like this:
/w <victim> Hey dude, I really need your help with this. That Rick Roll thing wasn't real, it's a joke ok?
/dnd <rick roll lyrics>
Remember that there is a maximum number of letters you can enter!
So he should immediately whisper back after your message. I also forgot to tell you that you should include in the "rules" that the victim CANNOT log out or go afk, or ignore, because then there's no way to Rick Roll the victim (but don't say that there's no way unless asked).
STEP 3
After he whispers you, he will see the dnd with the lyrics, which means he is being Rick Rolled. And if he plays fair, he is going to give you the gold you agreed he should. If you are/were nice to him and the guild, he will accept his "defeat" (if he's not an ass) and give you the gold.
And you're done.
TIP
You can do this multiple times if you have characters in other guilds (this one won't work anymore).
I realise this isn't that much of a scam, but it's funny and you profit from it, and you intended that it's a "scam", so... for you it is one.

ABOUT ME
I haven't posted a scam from a long time ago. I was recently in the graphics section. And the reason I don't post scams is because I can't prove they work, I have them on theory (though I'm SURE they work), and I dont have an account to prove it on (no time). I recently did a favor for a person in the graphics section and he said he would give me an EU Gamecard so if it works, I might post more scams .
Inspired by 7itanium, because I admire him.
This scam isn't proved, but I'm absolutely sure it will work if your guild mates aren't total dumb****s. It works best if you have been in the guild for more than 3 months though. And if you were nice.
Have fun with it. You can get from 50-300 gold normally using this, but if the one you are scamming is stupid and has lots of money and wants to bet because he is money hungry, you can get 500.
