Banning an Account



Well when you scam an account and you have everything done. You've successfully transferred the character and all you have left to do is lay the banhammer on the old account. But, you can't do it. So you come to MMOwned and post "Looking for someone to ban this account quick!"

Well now I'm showing you a few ways on how to get the account banned quick.

Harassment/Spam

One of the simplest methods many people try to do is going into general chat in a major city and spamming,

F*** YOU MOTHER F***ERS. I ARE THE 1337'EST PERSON EVER

Or something like that. Now the thing here is that you aren't looking at a perm. ban. The best you can get a:

• Warning
• One Day Suspension
• On RARE Occasions a 72 Hour ban

This is a quick and easy method if you are looking to get the account banned for a little while.

Sending a "Fake" Ban E-mail to the Original Owner

If you are looking to keep the account for a short period of time and are using the account for scamming purposes. This is a method that is commonly used.

Pretty much you go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (fake mailer).

You then type in a ban letter so the person thinks there account is banned. This has a moderate effect of working on the owner of the account.

Here is a mock ban letter:

***Notice of Account Closure***
Access to the World of Warcraft account, XXXXX, and any World of Warcraft account associated with the payment information you have provided, has been permanently disabled. The account has been identified as having used unauthorized game modifications and thus is in violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. The recurring subscription on the account has been disabled to prevent further charges.

Please review the World of Warcraft Terms of Use at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], which you accepted when you installed World of Warcraft and established the account(s). Section 4, Paragraphs A and B detail the limitations of game play modifications and use of any third-party or packet sniffing software.

Furthermore, any activities not intended by game design which affect the economy, the client, player characters or the world itself have a tremendous negative impact on the potential enjoyment for all players. The effects of these activities take many forms including a bloated game economy, server instability, and allowing unauthorized access to accounts, computers, and player data.

As a result, the account(s) will no longer be accessible and will unfortunately not be reopened under any circumstances.

Injecting an Illegal Program Into WoW

This is by far the best and probably one of the simplest methods. All you need is a simple program. The program is called Speed Gear. It pretty much injects code into WoW and this is 100% against the ToS.

This will almost 100% of the time get you a 72 Hour Ban. On occasion it will get you a perm ban, but that is if there are infractions on the account already.

If you are on the Khadgar(US) Realm, you can do Bloodhunterx's method.
Spam in trade chat, /2 Bloodhunterx is the best hunter ever. You noobs have to live up to me you nerd.

Obviously there's more than one way to get an account banned. That pretty much follows my 1st example. Spamming in general chat. That really never works to get a perm ban though o.O

If you used a speed hack and ran around the whole map like at 500mph for a few hours, im sure you'd get a perma ban.
Make a macro to shout a lot of swear words and racist stuff and it'll do the trick too.
